Villain epics... Please, give them some love!

Well I have a few complains about widows (Villain epics in general, but specially widows). They are completely forgotten by devs!!

Powers (Suggestions)
They dont get Ancillary Power Pools. Ok, its all about lore.
They dont have power customization. Ok, their claws are special... But what about the other powers? The buffs and toogles should have a minimal FX options. The mental blast should be tintable like blasters or defenders sets.
Wish widows had a minimal custom for their claws, like the spines sets have.

Costumes (Suggestions and bug fixes)
The cool part is they can unlock up to 6.
But only one is arachnos themed? What about having 2 of these?
The unique pieces are not combinable with others so... Please give us two arachnos themed costumes, like the very first.
Another forgotten matter: Let us use more hairstyles for the non helmet first costume! And the eye detail section is lacking LOTS of googles from science, cyborg and GR packs. This sections need to be revised and updated and adding latest boosters and expansion updates.
And please, fix the collar clipping for non helmet option and the pattern of the legs, in the inner part of the legs. That is broken only for the female version since I12.
I think is time!

I agree with this.

It's fairly annoying to be limited in weapons and hairstyles...

I'd like unique Widow only claws (Maybe obtained through Vanguard) since all Claw/ characters can use the widow claws (Minus the spines esque blade on some attacks) Vanguard Soldier only Mace (Since everyone can go Mace mastery now, except Khelds) and new gun would also be nice. Though they would need to look nice and fit with the ATs (Not just giving out energy weapons because everyone else gets them)

Power customisation for all VEATs including colour and Minimal FX (Some people drop one of the Crab powers because it is an awful colour blocking out their costume)

Please fix the bug with crab spider armor. My bane does look cool with the crab spider backpack, but it's an old issue with the Soldiers that needs to be addressed.

Things like Energy Mastery suit the concept of highly trained professional soldiers anyway.

If I recall correctly, spiders did get ancillary pools back in beta, but they got pulled. Why? the sets they gave were in many cases ill-fitting. As GR was pushed out on tight deadlines, and once pools go live they can't have powers completely changed/removed, the devs seemed to have opted for a 'wait until later, but do it right' approach.

Which I'm cool with. heck, as GR approached many hoped the same would be done for ALL villain ancillary pools, as there seem to still be some awkward placements and pool choices. (Like the level at which ancillary pools gain armors/AoE's versus where they come in patron pools.)

So, wait and see, I guess?

As to claw customization/blast customization? Yes please. Okay, if you want to restrict it in the first slot, fine. But we have a bunch of extra costumes we can do crazy stuff with. There's no reason we must have pink mental attacks and the funky blood widow claws.

Kheldians don't get any Epics at all. So before the spiders get some love, I'd rather see Khelds get access to Epics (and I love my Fortunata and Huntsman).

It still sucks since VEATs actually get quite a lot more powers than the average AT as well, but they still get epics.
Notably what I would like to see in Kheldian epics, would be passives that would boost abilities of the forms and possibly a whole new form for each one (Something scrapper like for warshades and something controller like for PBs, possibly. This is partly because it's always bugged me how apparently, all Kheldians have had the same species of host.)

APPs are supposed to help "fill holes" in the AT. For instance, blasters get holds, immobilizes and shields, tanks, brutes and scrappers get ranged damage and a bit of control and the like. (Yes, there is some overlap, I'm aware - just ask my Elec/Elec/Fire with multiple holds.)

Khelds? They have ranged damage. Melee damage. Control. Resist Shields. Mez protection available (dwarf form, Light form for PBs.) Heals. End recovery/management powers. Self rez. Phasing... What would they really put in an APP for them? (And yes, I see the "new form" comment, but as an APP? You'll have the form and multiple powers - and at 41, not many slots left for it, its powers, and whatever else you pick up. New forms would probably have to be retrofitted earlier and "lock out" one of the others - say a two form max, just in the interest of slots.) Much of what's left can be covered by existing pools (or the powers you didn't pick up yet from 1-40.)

As far as the OP - yeah, the VEATs could use more customization. I'm not big on playing them, personally, but you should *still* be able to make them "your own."

What VEATs would have specifically in the APPs, I'm not sure - but if they had them in beta, I suspect they're just put off (like the rest of the APPs getting a fifth power after the initial round was done, it just took some time.)

I wish Huntsmen could unlock the different rifles that Blasters have. Specificly the Tommy Gun from the "Untouchable" badge, but others would be nice too. My Crab would go petless again for that.

I would KILL for Very Long Straight hair for the male or huge build hair super long where the banes cover their eyes I really would like to see that.

Yep, they also need to add a helmetless options for SoA, like Widows have.

I still say they should've gotten their own patron pools rather than copying the brute ones. Also, I would like more Arachnos costume slots, but at the same time I wouldn't like them if they weren't optional. Some of my spiders don't want more than one uniform.
