Massive environment graphics issues with ATI
Temps? ~.~
I thought about that but a restart always fixes the issue and doesn't go straight back to being crappy.
Did you uninstall the old drivers before installing the new? Several have reported the 10.8 not working well if the old isn't uninstalled first.

I hadn't, I just installed over them, I'll go ahead and uninstall everything then reinstall and see if that helps it.
I have the same problem on my 5750.
its not a heat issue as my card never goes over 50C and my drivers are a fresh install on a fresh install of Win 7
Defiant's GoEH/MILITIS METUS
Yeah, sadly that didn't seem to fix my issue
I just ran into the same thing. Was playing awhile, then hit a bank mission. When I went in the door, the floor and wall textures were money (dollar bills!). Outside was fine. Then, things seemed alright until I went to Atlas Park to level. My enhancement screen had a different background, and all the symbols were wrong (instead of enhancements, I had three people standing together). Every time I went out and back into that screen, the sprites were different. But it didn't look like corruption. It looked like the wrong textures were being loaded. Closing and reopening the game fixed it. My temps are fine. Was around 70 degrees at the time.
Never seen anything like it.

I get the same bug, it doesn't matter what settings I have the game on, FSAA, Occlusion, Shadows, Reflections, Water, off or on it still happens.
It takes 2 or 3 /reloadgfx to get it back to normal for a mission or two.
Restarting the game client fixes it for an hour or two. Quite annoying.
Unless my character is secretly Neo and has code vision this seems out of place.
Also it should be noted this picture was taken in July, before GR so this isn't a Going Rogue bug but a i17 Ultramode graphics bug. (Though I have found this happening a lot more since GR)
System specs are
CPU Phenom II 1090T 6core 3.2gHz
Ram 8gb DDR3 1333Hz
GPU Radeon HD 5870 10.8 drivers (I did uninstall 10.7 first)
OS Windows 7 64bit.

- CoH Helper - it will show us basic computer settings and your CoH configuration.
- HijackThis - it will show us what's running on your computer concurrently with CoH. Click on "Do a system Scan and save a logfile." It will automatically open up Notepad and put the info there. Make sure Wordwrap is off in Notepad (Format > Wordwrap unchecked) before you cut and paste here.

I have a single 5870 and I'm getting these issues as well. I upgraded to the 8/23 release of 10.8 and that seemed to help, but the problem still recurs some times.

Yeah it doesn't seem to be a temps issue, and it's really odd that it usually happens after a period of playtime rather than right away and that simply restarting the game fixes it. I'm guessing it may be a card thing or some unknown triggering it.
btw: if you are running into this error: Please File a Bug Report through Catalyst Crew Feedback: http://www.amd.com/us/CatalystCrewSurvey
That will help AMD track this issue and maybe identify what is causing it.
Verify files. Should fix the problem. It's not a video card problem. It's a file problem.
Oddly enough, I've had lag issues in the past week where it will spike super high for 30 seconds to a couple minutes out of every half hour or every 5 minutes that only seem to be fixed if I exit CoH and go back in or even restart my entire computer. Nothing else on my computer is affected.
It's especially odd because it only really happens late at night or during the school day when server use, and internet use here at my home, is at a low point.
It will go from around 200 ping to over 3k and the npc enemies will even freeze and lag when I do, not just me. I can actually move as well, even though ti rubber bands me, while the npcs can't do anything and there is no "super spam catch-up" when the lag subsides like there usually is.
It's weird, but not a graphics issue for me with a new GTX 465, 8GB of system ram and an i3-530.

I'm thinking CoH isn't clearing temporary files or memory allocation like it should be.
I'm not that advanced a computer user, but it seems to make sense that it just builds up a clog of certain systems that only a restart that cuts power and wipes everything clean will fix , at least until it plugs everything up again.
I have an ATI radeon 5870 with the latest drivers with all settings fully turned up except the ambient occlusion. The game is usually fine for a bit but after an hour or two the graphics start to degrade into the screens shown below.

Is anyone else experiencing this or know if it's driver/graphics setting related issue?
