Praetoria is addictive

I rolled up a scrapper in Praetoria just to get a feel for kinetic melee and ended up getting caught up in the missions. Three hours later I finally check what time it is. I didn't even intend to take the character that far. I just got into the story that much.

I just wanted to say congratulations on making such involving content.

Now I've got to go make the mastermind that I actually wanted to run through the story with.

Work in progress no more. I have decided that I'm going to put my worst spelling errors here. Triage Bacon, Had this baster idea, TLR

I rather agree. I've only been able to spend about two and a half hours tops in there, about 50% of that was actually designing my two new toons. When I finally get some time this weekend, I'm going to give in to my strong, strong urge to just run around and LOOK at everything I can see, I've barely had any time for the sight seeing. :/

I've been taking my time with the content and reading everything new to me. My friends were shocked that I hadn't leveled up faster, as I usually do in the lower levels. Why should I zip through the content when it is new though, right?

I agree. I've made a new villain with the intention of fast-tracking her to blueside so I can have someone to run hero TFs with, but as it is I'm really in no hurry to leave this new place. The moment I've finished the Praetoria mishes for her, I'll likely just start up a few more Praetorians to check out the other story arcs.

Agree completely, loving the story arcs and story. Have spent more hours on it then I intended also

Also lots of respect to Paragon Studios for adding great RP elements to the game, and also for not dumbing it down which seems to be the route a lot of other games are going at the moment.

That I so agree with. Hell, on Protector I even saw a character lounging <SPI?> in the pool by Praetor Duncan.

I am taking my sig to MWO and MWT. Let them wonder what it means.

My gripe, and it's not a big one, is that I wish there was some variety in the first handful of missions. If I have to rescue those stupid cops from those stupid tunnels again and go through the rose thing with Cleopatra, someone's gonna get smacked.

Once I get past that, it's all golden.

Just for laughs, my "Oops!" moment in Praetoria so far has been running to the vendors on the far ends of Nova Praetoria and dodging purple con Destroyers to sell my lvl 2 enhancements... because I somehow missed the vendor right in the middle of the city plaza.

I have only spent about an hour and a half in Praetoria, due to family stuff. But what I have seen so far is pretty darn awesome. The graphics are great, though my good comp almost mapservered about five times. My problem (which isn't really a problem, because it's great!) is that I keep reading all of the mission text and picking all the snarky responses to my contacts. I think it's great that when I talked to Reese about maybe not being part of the Powers Division, that came back to me when I talked to Praetor White the first time. I haven't gotten the level where characters I kill I can't talk to, but I can't wait for that. The storyline is engaging, and I'm spending as much time reading as going through the missions.

I'm having so much fun, and even though it will take me forever to finally hit level 20, I can't wait to get back to Praetoria and see where it leads me. Well done, Devs.

I like to read the story but when on a team i don't like holding them up

I'm avoiding teaming so I don't outlevel the arcs I'm working through. I love how the contacts have such distinct personalities.

But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

It's all so polished and well designed. I'm enjoying the heck out of it. And altaholic though I am, I've been playing my new KM/SD exclusively since release.
