I had a chance to see things in beta though, so it's not like I haven't had the opportunity to experience it!
"Alien"
76 characters and Twenty-four 50s later, I still love this game.
AlienOne's Human-Form Warshade Guide (Old guide+New guide = 12,000+ views!)
It's been good. I was on a successful Redside Cathedral of Pain run and picked up the ever-elusive Master Thief badge. No nukes, no shivans, just lots and lots of Corrupters. It was glorious.

Samuel_Tow: Your avatar is... I think I like it
Hidden Hero is now a vigilante. And I totally did not change her alignment so I can go to redside Cape Radio shows too. >.> <.< Nope, not at all.
Love the Ghouls. Fast zombies are the best.
Love Nova Praetoria. Somebody's been studying New Urbanism. ;-)
Had a mission where I had to find a camera in NP. Contact said they were everywhere, but I couldn't find one anywhere. Eventually, after some help and some luck, I found a little flash bulb symbol on the map, really zoomed in. Not fun.
My wife noticed I was making a lot of frustrated sighs, but that was mostly the lag and rubberbanding. That'll clear up.
Love the more frequent ambushes. Made it feel less predictable. Not a big fan of having to wind my way back to the start of a map, but as long as I'm earning xp, I'll get over it.
How are other folks enjoying their first day playing Going Rogue?

Also, seeing some people I haven't seen on in some time coming back to the game.
I have to say that I'm cursing my own altoholicism because it's making me get bored of the first 5 levels, lol.
-Loving KM/ on my stalker
-Loving the new cities
-hating the queue, but that's only temporary
-Loving all the new builds my main toons now have with APPs
I've only been around for 16 months, and have never experienced "burnout" yet, and now might not ever thanks to this stuff.
I was pretty hooked after the first encounter with the Ghouls. It's exactly the kind of chaos I enjoy diving into; A big war between two factions with me playing the part of Achilles.
Really enjoyed the missions, though I did feel a sense of repetition with the second character who decided to become a loyalist. I was expecting things to branch out a bit more, but I guess White still needed to explain glowing flowers to me either way, so whatever. Individually the missions have been a blast. The new textures are so nice I almost didn't realize I was in some of the older maps, and the "propaganda" they have all over is great to stumble over. I've never spent so much time looking at walls.
I also didn't realize to what extent that I am violent. I mean, I knew it was pretty bad; The greatest joy I had in Animal Crossing was bashing villagers over the head with a shovel and launching a holy war against forest with my Golden Axe of Wood Chopping. Initially I looked at the non-aggressive enemies as a neat way to allow enemies to fight without giving the feeling that the entire town was in a constant state of chaos like you get in Paragon City or the Isles. Then I started attacking some of them who were doing things I viewed as oppressive. Theeeen I kind've just started attacking everyone. Violent Intentions indeed.
I do find it kind of odd that the Resistance still likes to attack me despite working for them. I would gladly leave them alone, but... They started it. Or at least they were going too 'cause I didn't see no yellow box around them.
