What to slot Boxing with (if anything)?

Usually I either 4-slot with Kinetic Combat to add 3.75% Def:S/L or 2-slot with Absolute Amazement to add 4% Recovery or leave it empty.

Although if I'm building for positional defences sometimes adding a full set of razzle dazzle is worth it.

On some min/max'ed builds I'll use 5 of the 6 ab. amazement set IO's for the 10% recharge, but the aformentioned ideas are probably best overall.

My Brute has Crushing Impact (5) in it.
It's not a big hitter by any means, but it's fast, and thus has good DPS for
a filler attack.
I went with CI for the Global Acc and Rch boosts. The +Max health is also
a nice little perk for /WP.

If you don't have the spots to spend, then my answer would depend on when you take Boxing. If you take it late, then it doesn't really need to be slotted at all (you'll have a full attack chain from other powers, even when exemplared). If that open slot bothers you or if you take it early, I'd recommend either an Accuracy IO or an Acc/Dam IO or even a Hami Nucleolus if you've got influence to burn. That way, you'll have something to fill in the attack chain when exemplared.
If you do have the slots to spend...
Accuracy: Absolute Amazement x4
Defense E/N: Pulverizing Fisticuffs x3, Pounding Slugfest x3, Stupefy x6
Defense F/C: Stagger x3, Razzle Dazzle x6
Defense S/L: Kinetic Combat x4, Razzle Dazzle x5
Defense Melee: Touch of Death x6, Razzle Dazzle x5
Defense Ranged: Mako's Bite x6, Stupefy x6
Defense AOE: Razzle Dazzle x6
Hit Points: Stupefy x3, Mako's Bite x3, Touch of Death x3, Kinetic Combat x3, Razzle Dazzle x3
Recharge: Absolute Amazement x5, Stupefy x5, Crushing Impact x5, Stagger x5
Recovery: Absolute Amazement x2, Stupefy x2, Razzle Dazzle x2
Just look at what you'd like to get in light of how many slots you have available and make your choices.
In my personal opinion, +HP is always nice on a */WP, so I'd be tempted to 3-slot Stupefy as a baseline. With a full six slots available, I might 3-slot both Stupefy and Razzle Dazzle for the +recovery and +HP.
Another possibility is to take Kick and slot a KB set in there. The only good things I can see there are Recharge (6x Kin Crash for 7.5%), AOE Defense (6x Force Feedback for 3.13%) and some of the regen/damage stuff.

So many choices that I will have a good think about which way to go before I jump in. With no need to take a travel power I do have slots and plenty of Inf to spend so will have a session in Mids using all the ideas you have given me and form a "Plan".

Just to note that Brawl can be added to a melee weapon attack chain and it will not disarm the weapon, but Boxing will, I believe, put weapons away and force you to re-draw. For that reason, while it could be reasonable to add it to a non-weapon user such as my Stone Melee Tank's cycle, I would not plan on adding it to any character who uses a drawn weapon.
I've 4 slotted with Kintetic combat... I've 5 slotted with absolute amazement for the recharge.... and i've done 6 razzle dazzles for the melee and aoe defense.

For your Kin/WP, just leave Boxing empty. Wasting 4-6 slots on a power for about 4% bonus to anything isn't worth it, unless you don't have anywhere better to put those slots.
