Stupidest aliens...

i sit corrected, it's been a while since i read the story and the memory's been clouded by all the adaptations. so i claim pop culture made me stupid.
In the original story it was explained that the Martians really had no concept of disease back on Mars. Apparently they had somehow wiped out pathogens so long ago that they forgot about it and didn't know how vulnerable they really were. They also didn't have proper digestive systems anymore and subsisted off of animal blood directly, so no gut bacteria either.

don't confuse the movie with the book. the humans didn't use Harrier when they eventually fought the Psychlos, they used the psychlos own tech, that they were being taught how to use in order to mine the gold Terl wanted but couldnt get at himself because it was near a uranium deposit. the only reason the humans could use the tech reliably was because of the teaching machine Terl kept plugging Johnny into who passed on the basics to the other humans he'd brought along.
The Aliens in Battlefield Earth weren't that dumb they managed to take over the Earth and build cities inspite not being able to breath the atmosphere this actually something scientists today are trying to achieve. L. Ron Hubbard just made the Humans too smart. The frigg'n learned the Alien tech and to fly Harrier Jump Jets in a week through simulators.

the movie Psychlos were idiots, but the ones in the book were greedy, manipulative corporate backstabbers. not stupid, just lazy.
The inhabitants of Planet Spengo
Always remember, we were Heroes.

My vote has to go to the inhabitants of Spengo, follow by the Precursors of Star Control.
The problem with the Predators is that we only see one tiny aspect of their culture in the movies. What we see is what they do for fun. Like how the old big game hunters used to go on safari in Africa.
Klaatu from the 2008 remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still. It didn't help that Keanu Reaves was playing him, but good grief.
