Old Timer Gathering

It indeed was great to see everyone, to talk to old friends and discuss old times. Was quite a night!

Fortunately, we were able to steal a few of the Praetorian Clockwork to clean up all of the Geritol spills after the gathering of the oldsters...

D'oh! I thought I'd posted the time. Well you know what they say, "There are two things that go when you get older. The first thing to go when you get older is the memory. I forgot what the other thing was." My apologies. :-)


However, it was a lot of fun and as long as there's interest, we'll keep doing it every month. I'll make sure to post it a week before the event next month and hopefully, I'll remember all the tiny little details.

I truly cannot wait for the next one!

I'm a little rusty so I found her a little hard to interact with as a lot of her interactions were her own thoughts so it was a little more difficult to take cues from her but she is a very fun, well thought out and uniquely portrayed character!

Geeze. Got so busy with RL, I totally forgot about this.

I got wrapped up in real life as well. Carrie had relatives visiting from out of state, so we spent the afternoon at her mom's place visiting with them. Not that I consider myself an old-time RP'er, but I would have been interested in rubbing elbows with the old far... er, such pillars of the community.

The evening reminded me very much like the old days when I first started rp'ing. Go to the park, lurk, listen in, let your character do what your character would do. I had a great time, even though I too was a little rusty. I mean, I really forgot how hard it is to follow a chat scroll when there are dozens of characters interacting at once. Probably need to go practice in the D some.

(( Sorry to have missed this. Wound up getting a replacement computer for Say because she's been having -major- comp issues for the past 4 months and we're praying now they're resolved. Met up with friends from Oceanside who've been helping rebuild/troubleshoot.

The evening suddenly went to the Arclight in Hollywood to see Scott Pilgrim.

Stoked to see so many people had a great time. ))
