Errr, so you're editing a post 7 hours after I quote it and respond to it... AND trying to take a swipe at me for not reading what you edited in?? Unreal.

Actually, I edited for more clarity. Though if there was any effort put into reading even just the original post of the thread, or paid enough attention to recognize Wassy's distinct style, you wouldn't have made such a mistake.

Well I think he was trying to be funny ... since he can't edit your quote to his post ... it is kind of obvious that you had read it correctly and that it could cause confusion

Edit: maybe I was wrong.

Seen full screen, ya I can definitely see her distinctive style in the sketch... Initially however I was reading the forums from my iPhone at work and Wassy's style doesn't show quite as strongly on the small screen, specially when my main focus was on Malcolm and what he was saying.

So yeah, it's my fault I credited you with art that you posted and didn't credit to anyone else. Sorry about that. I can totally see why you question my reading skills of future text.

I just want to say that reading IS fundamental, whether that sentiment is being used to browbeat someone or not.

Yay Christina Hendricks art with Mal! That's some shiny work, thanks Wassy.
Does she play a temptress on Madmen too? If so I need to watch more back episodes!
What I've seen so far she just makes small appearances as a secretary here and there.

Also Even though he didn't recognize the author of the work (understandable
on such a small screen) he was paying you a compliment Bayani.

P.S. You guys can't read into the future? S'matta wit choo?

Or we talking the kind where you show up to work in a grass skirt and coconuts?

Also Eddy that Iron Man WIP is really tight man. Love the way it's coming along.

Eddy's colors over Wassy's Firefly-ish Weekly Submission

--edit--

Swanzy's began working on his own original paintings, which will be submitted weekly to the Division-401 group. Here's his take on High Score, a character created by TheKelol.

It's time again for Wassy Wednesday. In honor of the expansion Going Rogue, this week's sketch is Desdemona and goes out to senor David Nakayama! Thanks David for all your hard work. =)

That came out great. Wassy is so awesome

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Eddy colors it. But I really like the composition of that piece too. Wassy got into a good flow and churned that out pretty quick.

Eddy I love how you always choose your colors to fit the lines instead of forcing a particular style onto them. It really showcases your coloring abilities.

These last two are good examples - Wassy lines are great and use some sharp lines, so your colors become more bold and highlight Wassy lines. Whereas your lines are softer and rounder and your lighting and color emphasize that very well. ]

Wassy I'm realling digging your sketches too. Okay dumb non-artist question... Are these pencils on paper that are scanned or just some cool PS thing? If pencils may I ask about the paper? What kind is it and why do you use it vs plain old paper. My son sketches and I'm just wondering if there is something that helps by using non-white paper.... Or am I just being dense and it's a background dropped in after the scan....

Great work!

From Wassy via hivemind: "My recent sketches were from an Earthbound sketchbook. The paper is recycled. I like it because (as with any toned paper), your midtones are done for you, so you can do shadow and highlight easily. I used a mechanical B pencil with white chalk."
