a different kind of CRAP! moment
I've done it a couple of times when the new interface was launched. It happened quite a few times during the old interface though, so I guess I'm getting better at paying attention. Fortunately, I didn't lose much.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
I catch myself at least once a day typing in the bid box instead of the listing
box on items I intend to sell.
Fortunately my own "rules" have saved me before actually completing the
bid (My "rule" is "Type Fast, then Click Slow" - it's saved me countless times).

I've been rich, and I've been poor. Rich is definitely better.
Light is faster than sound - that's why some people look smart until they speak.
For every seller who leaves the market dirty stinkin' rich,
there's a buyer who leaves the market dirty stinkin' IOed. - Obitus.
Yeah I've done this probably a dozen times already. It's rather annoying.
I had heard of others doing this when the market UI was changed but I never had any troubled unitl Monday then I purchased 5 items for 95 million each that were going for 40 million instead of posting 5 items for 95 million each that were going in the low 100's.
oh well live and learn
Me too. It cost me about 40 million on Tuesday. Some you win, some you lose.
Yep although it didnt cost me much...so after that I ask myself like 3-4 times are you sure about that bid/sale??
It's been a while, but I've done this once or twice. I don't think it cost me much, but I'm sure that was just luck.
I have learned to leave the market alone when I'm sleepy.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
Anyone else do this?
I'm using the new market interface by finding my stored items with the find button. They come up, I see what they are selling for and attempt to post my item. Unfortunately my groggy, just-woken-up brain didn't realize I was making a bid on the top window, not placing a bid on the bottom window :0
Oh well, only cost me 4 million and at least I get to turn around and sell the item back for the same price I got it for.
My biggest mistake was back when the market first hit. I was trying to sell an item I had so I posted it, didn't sell right away, took it off, changed my price, posted it again, repeated, then it stopped letting me post. Wondering why, I then learned about the listing fee!
