The August 2010 Fan Art Battle

YES, BUT DO YOU HAVE IT IN FUSCHIA?

This month's theme is going to be rather tongue-in-cheek. Its August, college is starting back up in just a few weeks. Icon's had their fair share of interns. Lets just say... they REALLY need to get back in class!

For this month, I want you to picture the outcome of Icon's (and the Facemaker) getting interns that weren't quite up to snuff. Costumes fixed incorrectly, mixed up orders, those tricky decimal points getting put in the wrong place on those sizes... whatever your crazy brains can come up with.

You CAN use your own heroes/villains, but that might not be the best idea. The signature heroes/villains are much more recognizable, so mix-ups would be easier to read straight away.

As always, feel free to ask for any clarification.

THE RULES

1. Keep It Clean- All entries must be direct-linkable on the boards. If its worse than PG-13, you will be disqualified.

2. Use City of Heroes/Villains Elements- Your entry must somehow relate to City of Heroes/Villains either through character, setting, or some other means

3. Visual Fan Art Only- We're not taking writing, music, or interpretive dance submissions

DEADLINES
All entries must be posted to this thread or the dA group by MIDNIGHT US EASTERN TIME, SATURDAY AUGUST 28TH.

Hmmmm ok I'm thinking Valkyrie goes to Icon and orders a brand new suit of custom battle armor
but instead winds up in a Micro-kini... or if your really unlucky Infernal does too.

I have an interesting idea for this... if I get inspired enough you may just get to see something from me again this month. Purely for support/encouragement of course.

Hey all. Just wanted to say thanks in regards to hosting this event every month Wassy, thanks to all the artist and to the players who followed and voted! It was fun to make it this far, but in light of recent RL events my available time to contribute to this just got whammied! So I unfortunately/fortunately (depends on the perspective lol) need to withdraw from this event and focus on some new exciting RL design/art opportunities that got "the go ahead" today!

Good luck on the following months guys - keep up the good work!

Almost forgot to let you guys know... I'm taking a break from City (maybe permanently) and so I won't be around to update the FART thread in Player Events. Someone take up the banner! It's a good place to get more people in to vote.
