They are from an alternate dimension. So they don't count. Independence Port is your best bet. You can usually find gobs of them south of Terra Volta, near the shipping yards.

I'll have to disagree with two points.
1) Those family bosses used to award credit for the badge until some players so abused that mission. When the lower reward versions were put in place, badge credit was left off them.
2) By far the best place blue side to hunt family bosses is Striga Isle, the west side of the island. You can find 2 to a group even solo.

If you can get a team, you'll get more bosses. They might have changed the rules for placement a bit. I checked, the bosses are still there, but not quite as plentiful solo as I remember.

I've been hunting for that badge myself the past couple of days as well as the Warrior bosses. I've found a greater quantity of Family bosses and Warrior bosses in Striga than I did in IP. Just my 2 cents.
I'm just gonna wait until August 17, and then head to St. Martial to get 'em.

So I was finishing up some badges I need on my tank before GR. Finishing up Family Boss's went to IP not many, I know a bigger team would help. So I loaded up Unai Kemen flashback arc with the old Family farm, had plenty of boss's but none of them counted for the badge.
They are all listed as Family is this a bug or known issue?
