That's when I first came to the game. I was thinking far too 2-D at the time and didn't understand where the killer fire was coming from until I looked up and saw 3 Eochai clustered 3 stories up on the fire escape. Silly, silly visual seeing them all huddled in that tight space, but such fun!

Seeing two other Broad Sword Dark Armor scrappers on the server.

The first December we were in Gemini Park, someone said something the broadcast channel ooc, to which someone else responded ooc.

For the next 3 hours or so, broadcast was just this ooc chat room of all these people we've been rping with for months. It was like everyone decided, I'm just gonna take today off.

Also, the Pinky and the Brain improvs Terra Skye and I would inflict on people at random times.

You know, I don't think I was there for that one, but I do remember a similar incident. Which just got better when somebody said, "You know you guys are currently using a game client that probably took millions of dollars to develop as a glorified chat engine, right?"

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

That really seems like the beginning of a segment from Whose Line Is It, Anyways?

And we do it daily, with much gusto and enjoyment.

This had to be one of my favorites as well. A group of us were on as soon as the servers would let us when i10 went live. Was business as usual in Atlas Park until the sky turned that ominous dark green and every zone was invaded at once. We split up our team and formed a few more to rally the heroes in the zone. We'd get things decently organized and move onto the next zone. I think we inadvertently made the hill in Talos the rally point, since at the time people were content to fight in front of the train and let many Rikti get zapped by the drones.

Several, once before the Pocket D, when it was just a rave in the warehouse a couple making out behind the stack of boxes emoted something about shakey knees and how good it felt, then kicked off a couple regen powers. About 20 of us at the bar above just looked at each other stunned.

Once smacking around some guys in the portal parking lot and speedster I know runs by, stops, says "Run Jack", and takes off again. I turn towards the building and he'd agro'd several giant monsters from the island north of the city and they had followed him back. Being it was i2 or 3 me and a couple other tanks held agro while several dozen other types killed monsters. An event, without an offical event.

Playing Santa for the Angels was always fun.

Oh yeah, and through I2 and I3 I used to get tells for the Jack Wolfe in Galaxy. Hence the name change. People would invoke powers, send tells, and generally be suprised when I'd answer.

This past Saturday.

A LOT of "Old Timers" came out of the woodwork and graced Gemini Park turning back the clock to 4 to 5 years ago.

There was much talk of Ascendant and his A-hole. Not to mention Ascendant: The Musical.

Rumor has it the 2nd Saturday of the month will unofficial become a Gemini Park meet'n greet night because of this Grand Cosmic Event that ripped the Space-Time continuum.

This one blames Arc-tic and half expected Geisha to show up out of no-where.

A LOT of memories were shared that night and -really- made me glad to be a Virtue-ite from 'The Beginning'.

Everyone knows you blame POLARON. So specifically the second Saturday? Hell, if anyone else is reading this I'll head there every night. Woo!

That was the general idea being tossed around at the very end of the evening. Imagine a sort of a 'neighborhood improvement' of the old Gemini Park scene and a way to encourage the Arr-Pee's and appeal to old timers and new comers alike.

Stupid heroes. I'll Go Rogue just so I can sabotage your Gemini Park.

Muahahahaha!

My favorite memory of Virtue involves Pop Tarts, twins and an impish alien from Mars.

*cough* Unofficially Second Saturday of each month *cough*

Gee you'd think I was somewhat stoked by this notion, huh? Actually, since Sayterra and I have been able to game a -little- more regularly there is a good chance, the gods of gaming permitting, we'll be stopping by more often now and then through Gemini Park on Saturday nights in general just to see what's going on.

I know that for me, I still am trying to process all of the "magic" from that night. We joked that it seemed to be that Gemini just 'called out' that night. I suppose that's the only way to put it.

I think we need to petition the Dev's to put in another exploration badge in the Park too.

Not being in the park by myself would be draw enough for me--now you tell me the green imp and the grumpy goat will be there with friends? How can I hope to resist?
