ok it is published and arc number is 436504 hope you like it but i would like us to get a group together to try it out cause it is definatly not a solo thingy.
I tried out the first mission of the arc number you gave me last night with my "main" MA/SR Scrapper. He's set to team of 8 and +2 enemies. When I entered the mission and saw the first group (no spoilers here), I thought, "Pfft! These guys are no prob!" Then I got pasted.
It was then that I noticed I was level 27, and most of my SR defenses were grayed out! D'oh! Let this be a lesson in the difference between what a level 50 can handle and what a level 27 can handle! I was going to try again but someone from my Champions SG was on and needed help.
But, I'll be back! (I'm good with testing it tonight if everyone else is).

I was just reading through the recent posts to see what I missed while I was away. I was considering that I might prepare a mission arc to elaborate a bit more on Direbane's backstory. I think it's pretty cool everyone else was sort of thinking the same way, and I'm looking forward to our team specific arc!
Anyhoo (yes, I said, "anyhoo"), I'm happy to be back in action for tonight. I'm guessing that I'm not too far behind everyone levelwise so that I won't be a burden to the team like Wylde usually is. See y'all in a few.
Have you gotten your face put back together, Direbane? It's still pretty awful looking from that cave accident.
Wait, what!!??
It looked like that BEFORE you left!!?? Wow, sorry for your luck man. Maybe you and Bulwark can start a support group or something.

okay i believe i finished the editing to the sg arc mission. I like how it is now and i changed a bit of things around. granted there may be typos but hey it's me so it's bound to happen the new number it is posted as is 436760. I did hope we could do this one night as a team cause it does has info in it about out characters. not much but enough that it will lead more insight into to group that formed our sg. I hope ya'll like it tho. I have bits of everyone in there (info about them i mean) with the exception of Lebeau and Sal. Soon as they can post some bio info on here i can add a little something for them. I did my best to fix things and not give too much away. But the whole purpose of this arc mission i did is for us to meet someone we never have before and to finally see what the heck it is the "edge of chaos" are trying to do with us all....... okay well i'm no gonna hit the hay it's late and i'm celebrating my b-day tomorrow (technically today the 6th).. yay 29 not 30 yet.. LOL take care guys.
Happy Birthday!
I was goingto t est run your arc, but maybe I should wait for the group now, seeing as how its nearly how you like it.
Or, maybe I can get a secret sneak preview and not tell anyone .... hahahaah!

I think, unless anyone is opposed, we should just run it together, like this Thursday, or sometime when everyone is around! I think it would be neat for us, and maybe give us something to work on with our characters in the meantime.

Woot!
Thursday was a fun time, the PCSF arc was very insightful! Seems we have an emeny group as a "nemesis" now. Looking forward to the rest of it -- Great Job Ny!
My question about this Thursday, since, by last accounts, we'll be meeting in Paragon and running the Tip Missions/Morality Missions --Does our group feel comfortable with switching alignments to Vigilante? In other words, does any character concept mandate that the character remain a "true" hero? Villain-side would open a lot of content for us.
If everone is eager to run Praetoris on Thursdays, the problem would be that we've put work into our current beloved heroes and no one wants to abandon them.
ONE solution would be to copy the PCSF costumes over and RECREATE the team as Praetorians (same powersets, same costume). We could roleplay it as any one of our enemies "banished" us from Primal Earth to another dimension (which just so happenes to be Praetoria), and our powers have been diminished in the cross-over.
OR -- our powers have been modified or CHANGED in the crossover. It would allow us to play the same character and try out some different powers. The only problem would be the duplicated names, I suppose. But when we leave Praetoris, we could re-join the SG hero-side and have the same base still! (Maybe we could keep our original names and change "Operative" to "Praetorian" or something like that. Or maybe "Agent" Tee hee. But something along that line of thinking.
Anyway, what are alla yer thoughts on that? I think we're all pretty keyed about Praetoria, but Villain-side content would be pretty cool too.
See ya'll Thurs!

I don't have any opposition to going Vigilante on Bulwark... in fact, in his current mood, I can see that being a very logical step for him.
However, I don't know how I feel about basically starting over with the same character in Praetoria. I wouldn't want to re-play either set (I try to not do that) so I don't know what type of character he would be. I think we will have to discuss this further as a group.
Also, remember that Nox's player would like us to meet in the SG base for a "meeting" presumably with Amira Nandelu, FBSA Liaison to the PCSF. From there, tip missions could be a great deal of fun.
I can't speak for everyone, of course, but we seem like a group that could very easily be Vigilantes. Heroes without an excess of altruism, but with enough heart to "do the right thing". I'm up for making that journey!
Someone mentioned Preaetoria last week, and I was trying to think of a way we could maybe work it if the majority of us wanted to do that.
To get around the similar powersets and ATs, for example, we could make our alternate selves! The "Praetorian PCSF" ... "PCSF Agent" or "PCSF Ops" could replace the title "Operative" ((Nove Praetoria Strike Force, NPSF?) But in this dimension, we *could* have different power sets/ATs, similar Team Uniforms, etc.
Primal Earth: Operative Bob -- Elec/Elec Blaster
Preatorian Counterpart: NPSF Agent Bob -- Elec Control/Elec Assault Dom, or even MA/SR Scrapper.
Eh, I don't know. Just another example to add to the list of options.
I don't have ANY heroes that will go Vigilante (I'm a shmuck, my heroes are goody-two-shoes), so I'd kind of like to do the Vigilante thing with Wylde. Just thinking that others with a different desire might want some ideas.
Thursdays are awesome fun for me 'n' Direbane, whatever we do is going to be plain great!
See ya'll at the base for the meeting!
Long live the PCSF

Hey ya'll I like the idea of going vigilante but hey I'm up for whatever. If I remake Ny tho i would probably change a few things with her powers. Look forward to the meeting and can't wait to see how things go. I am glad ya'll liked the arc I'm workin on the 2nd part to it but its takin me a bit. I think If i remake Ny i would wanna fight more with her. Defenders are a bit squishy.. See ya'll thursday. oh hey were we getting together before then or just discussing everythin on thursday? take care ya'll
I think we will just have a meeting in the SG's Conference room on Thursday to start things off. I didn't get the impression from Nox that there was any other plan... unless there is and I just don't know about it.
So, Vigilantes it is then? How will we justify that? Or are we kinda going off the radar for that stuff?
Heh. I was looking forward to a little vigilantism, but it seems I am unable to add Going Rogue to my account. I'll keep trying, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to access the same content with everyone tonight.
Eagerly awaiting an official update of Thursday's meeting and summary of events of that night. Should be Quiiiiiite interesting.

Ohmygosh tease!
Good news! Absolutely can't wait. Love all these Architect Missions!
Hopefully the PCSF breaks away from the Edge of Chaos Organization, leaving us free to do as we will - maybe even becoming out nemesis organization! OOooh! I like that!

Who is closest to being our Game master?
Kinda wanted to do some "out of combat" things that may reflect poorly on Wylde's future well being, but I want to do it within the story framework. For example, "I deploy some seeker drones fitted with anti-matter explosives and park them under the hood of Amira's car."
Now, Anthony would NEVER stoop that low (using technology) but it would be an out-of-game thing that would require a second or third party to "make it happen (or not)".
If any of us have secret projects they would like to do, or information they want to uncover, and so on, who manages that?
Finishing up Synapse was fun, but I was sooo falling asleep the last half hour or so. My apologies be being a schlub!
See ya'll next Thurs, anxious to see how things unfold with our story.

Most of that stuff should be routed through Ny... she is the closest thing to a GM we have, but remember that the physical character for Amira is "piloted" by Nox, so you might wanna give him a shout too.
Also, you may want to wait until you run the AE arc we are doing... depending on how it plays out, Amira may just get hers there. But it depends on what you think Wylde would do. I know there is a LOT of hostility around, toward Amira, toward the Edge of Chaos, toward Nox and his "new" personality/S.O., etc. And Nox and I plan to work some of that out in the arc, or at least a bunch of it.
And I was sooooo sick of battling Clockwork that I couldn't even begin to think beyond punch... punch... click heal... punch. I was gone for most of the session myself. I think a little diversity in the next play session or two will help.
On a personal note, I am starting up my second internship soon for my grad. school program and am not sure how that will impact my time. We shall see, just a heads up.
Ugh! My wife just finished her grad stuff ... it was quite a fun two years. But she can teach college English and Literature classes now. My degree is Geology, but luckily I had the common sense to stop with a B.S. Good luck, though I'm sure you won't need it!
Synapse and Old Posi were my least favorite TFs. But now we've passed those kidney stones and can enjoy the rest of the ride.
Ya, Wylde holds a *little* animosity toward Amira, and shows his disrespect for her with great zeal; but never, never his good buddy Noxxie, no matter how tight his briefs are. Wylde's holding himself back (as much as he has the self control to) because he fears that Amira may mess with Nox even more if we don't "stay in line". She may not be able to hurt us, as it were, but she can mess with Nox to keep us in line. (Nox did a GREAT job of piloting her, I must say!) Wylde's loyalty is to his friends now (the ones that have saved his life many times already, and tolerated and even occacionally laughed st some of his jokes - no small feat!) not our parent organization.
I'll hold off and see what happens in the AE arc; all I really wanted to do was back a very, very public and in-the-open campaign add against her (and the EoC) - because good publicity seems important to them. No harm to any actual persons, living or dead and all. I'm sure Amira is doing what she thinks is best for her organization, and all, and it's apparent they've given us all a shot in the gut, and that's just business, but she crossed one line too many with Noxxie!

Hey guys I do appoligise for not being totally focused thurday. Between runnin late and chasin my dog I was exhausted. But as for any Ideas anyone has by all means please do go for it. I want everyone to feel free to expand their toons. I do look forward to the AE mission Nox and Bul are doing. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I know there is hostility in the group with the events that have unfolded upon us. I am sure to that the PCSF can endure any and all that come their way. On a side note I wanted to tell you all that Operative Ny is out of commission for a short while. More will be explained on thursday. She is still there and all just can not really say anymore till then.
Yes I do believe you all have been doing great with the toons and the roleplay. I am glad to have met all ya'll and that you guys have made this a true adventure.
On another note I have my kids in school now and my oldes't is doing scouts this year. His meetings will be on thursday nights but not sure of the exact time yet. Hopefully tho I will have info on the times by next week.
Good luck to all on their schooling and hope everyone has a great week .
If it is officially published, Ny, please do share it's number here so we can peruse it. If I see ya on, I would love to go on a test run!
