Hey guys, sorry I had to bail last night. I've started coming down with my yearly sinus infection, and last night was the headcahe/BAD NAUSEA phase. Needless to say, its hard to fight the baddies when ur focusing on holding down dinner. That said, it was an awesome arc and I wish I got to finish it... Maybe I can do it with Dire later this week to catch up...

And off topic... I got my big fat grant from school and I budgeted enough to buy a gaming computer... I love coh but my laptop was meant for browsing the internet, not gaming, so even though its brand new, my graphics and stuff are pretty ridiculous. I noticed some of you have posted screen pics that are of great quality, so Im assuming you have gaming PCs... since I know very little about them, any recommendations?

Just so you guys know, the arc has been put back to its proper order, so for those wanting to replay it.... you will have to play the whole thing to get to the last part.

Thanks for the glowing reviews. I take credit for the enemy design and such, but I too have to give some real props and proper credit for the basic design of the story as well as basically ALL of the writing to our buddy Nox. I was consistently impressed how he crafted everything so seamlessly and was able to take my suggestions for aspects and changes to things and mold them in such a way that everything fit and made sense.

And as for a gaming PC? I really don't do well with hardware stuff. My PC isn't really top of the line or anything, but it does alright. The only thing I really did to it was to add an nVidia GeForce 9600 GT. As far as I know, that particular card is a bit old, but for me, it does the job. Aside from that I couldn't tell ya a heckuva lot. I know that Nox got a pretty shiny Alienware PC... but that thing is ginormous and, probably a bit more expensive than necessary.

My graphics card is a 10,000 BC. A spark of flint against iron is "0" and no spark is "1". Neanderthal Binary they call it.

Check out the minimum/recommended guidelines on "Going Rogue" and you should have a good idea of where to go from there. See? Actual serious advice from me.

Also would like to pile on more Kudos for the work on the arc, I'm REALLY looking forward to Ny's arc now!

I've been dating this girl for a while now. She's really sweet, and a bit naive, and powerful in the ways of magic, and all, but she can't seem to keep her vault locked up. So, now I have this ... sore. Thingie. You know, down there.

Normally it wouldn't scare me so much, but its started to talk to me. You know, in a rude and taunting voice. It's especially embarrassing when I'm in public -- it's really kinda loud, and very obnoxious. I tried the Dispel Obnoxygen recovery spell, but no beans.

Really, what can I do?

Hurtzwen (very clever....), if Gabby is me here’s what I think you should do: Get a little tiny shock collar for the thing; same principle as the ones we use for dogs only a tenth the size, and every time he speaks he’ll get a little shock (take plenty of magical percocet tablets beforehand, it hurts like nothing you’ve ever imagined). You kill two birds with one stone: you shut Mr. Thingie up and you kill him via electrolysis. Since he’s enchanted, you’ll have to get that pure precious desert blossom of a lady to place a friikEnwurk spell on the device. She kind of owe’s you. And she’s kind of easy to blackmail right now, given the super-sonic speed of her posterior. That or clench on a piece of rawhide and burn him off with a cigar like a real man. Your cigars are magic are they not?

PS- Im game for whatever tomorrow. Ill be on at around 7 for warm up. I have an arc for Gabe that ties his family in to whats happening with the Edge of Chaos, but its got several bugs that I doubt I can work out by tomorrow (and no matter how I rework it, the XP is practically nothing which just chaps my beautiful elvin azz), so thats doubtful but Ill let you all know if its an option by then. But really, Im up for whatever, as long as I get to try out the new spell Ive been working on... I call it: "A safe alternative to dialysis."

I'm anxious to run anything, especially stories that give background to our heroes ... and that reminds me, I have to get back to my own AE story arc. (It's not listed yet, but the name of it will be, "Close, But No Cigar." Ha.

Noxie is fine with us finishing Ny's arc... as am I.

Not sure if it was CoH or my computer, but I got sick of dc-ing and stayed logged for a while after the 4th time. It got irritating lol

We punched Arbiter sands in the face for you, though. Twice, actually. And then another time just for good measure, and then three more times because he had the nerve to come to Praetoria, and then two times for bringing so many Arachnos soldiers with him, then seven times because we felt like it, and then five times because he had the audacity to speak to us without asking permission first. Then, after that, things got kinda worse than PG-13.

FYI- I hope you guys are doing DCUniverse online... I went to gamestop today and got my preorder, and submitted my receipt/signed up for a beta key online. Its pretty fast and easy, and you only have to put 5 bucks down on the game at Gamestop, so I recommend signing up for the beta now so you get a guaranteed spot on Nov 30th. Im doing mine on PS3, but I think its the same "universe" for PS3 and PC players....

Oh, and Bully... as you know, Im a fellow Marvel/X-men freak (Phoenix specifically, even got her crest on my waistline as a tattoo in RL, lol), so you can imagine my utter delight when I discovered this... especially since Marvel announced canceling the MMO they were originally going to put out. I have the time for exactly 2 MMOs in my off-work time, one is (and will be) City of Heroes, and the other I'm reserving for when I (eventually ...) get my new computer. (Or this one upgraded to at least 20th Century technology)

That other MMO will be either Star Wars: The Old Republic, or a Horror-Lovecraftian MMO, or, if none of that comes to pass, Star Trek Online (Ick, ya I know, it's THOSE guys, and they're having "issues" at the moment, but I'm a HUGE Trek geek.In fact, it was just over seven years ago I left Klingon fandom behind

(I was involved in Trek/Klingon fandom for over ten years, and yes, I have a Klingon uniform with the ridges and all. Makes a great Halloween costume nowadays. Back then they called me K'nagh, lowly Geoscientist of House Qaraw' who became, eventually, Chancellor for The Empire, an international Klingon fanclub that still exists today!
