my fire/ice gimp will still be played... for badges.

my stone/fire will still be my primary tank for almost everything.

my sd/fire will still be what i use for tickets in AE.

my ice/stone will still be in hibernation... replaced by the stone/fire. (I do use it on the LGTF though.)

my invuln/mace... will get moved to another server as soon as it is free again. probably virtue....

I've got 9. That's almost two handfuls. If I'm the last, then I'll be the last.

I wont say all because some just are not worth it... but the ones I enjoy playing alot will make the transition.

Oh, I'll still have all of mine. I just won't be making anymore without some changes.

I dunno, I just don't get it. I hear a lot of folks say "With GR, I can finally play a brute/corr/mastermind!!" Um, guys...CoV's been free for COH accounts for some time. You can play them right now. GR will take out the biggest complaint about the isles, the lack of market supply/activity. What you're left with, then, is a place with fewer fetch quests/hunts/'filler' missions. The only downside is a lack of many strike forces. Go grey, you get those too.

Oh, well. to each their own.

I think a lot of people who are like "I can finally play a [Insert Villain AT]" say that for a few reasons.

The most common complaints I've heard are: hard to find teams, don't like drab zones, crap merit rewards.

For me, Villside has always been my favourite because I find hero ATs (with the exception of Trollers) to be boring and 2D, the content too grindy and the antiquated and moronic teaming ideas (hurf durf need tanker nuker healer) too prevalent.

The only blue side AT I like are Scrappers. I generally find the red side ATs superior, especially Brutes, Corruptors, and Masterminds for me. I just wish Corruptors would get Force Field. :P However, I prefer the blue side zones (I admit, the drab of the red side zones wears on me), and it's easier to find teams blue side, so that's usually where I play. Once Going Rogue hits, I plan on rolling a lot more red side ATs and bringing them blue side.

With the exception of Scrappers, my sentiments exactly.

Even though FF is kindof a boring set, I still totally want it for Corrs.

I already drew up a Fire/FF Corr build. Buff team every 4 minutes, spend the rest of the time as a softcapped, mez protected high recharge Scourging death machine.

I completely agree, their latest album is by far their best overall. Also it seem their next one is due in August and the demo song is pretty good.

As for the topic, I don't see any AT being left out, but I do see more people trying AT they wouldn't play either because of how they generally see "the other side". I like both CoV and CoH as much so I'll just play what I feel like where I feel like it

I'll work to get Lascota as a DB/WP Stalker hero.
I have a Energy Tanker named Ruined Promise who was created specifically to be a Villain convert.
I think that's it-- my heroes were mostly meant to be heroes; my villains meant to be villains. I might make a Hero Ninja, though, or maybe a Hero Robots/Force Field Mastermind.

There is somethin' to be said for never waverin', never backin' down, and all the heroic stuff. However, you do have those who believe their moral code goes beyond that o' the rules o' society. And, sometimes, for the greater good, you have to break those rules.

Thus, you have the Vigilante. And that's where you'll find me.

Then you have the easily distracted by shines person like me who will be doing it all for the badgez.

Heh. Let's not forget that 90% of villain content is versus...well....villains.
Seriously, the last 9% of that is against vigilante groups that are actively violating international law. Any time a villain sees an honest-to-goodness hero, they look for flying swine. It should be no difficulty for heroes to go red, or villains go blue. They'll do what they always did, bust COT/ Malta/ Arachnos/ Family/ Tsoo/ Crey/ etc. heads.

All that stuff is just gravy... which I'll be indulgin' in.

I try to steer clear of teams advertising for a "healer" or who insist on getting a tank. It says something about the lack of imagination of the person forming the team.

I do love the Redside AT's and love my trollers. I probably may switch a few just to mix it up a bit. Can anyone say "all Corruptor STF" or "all Troller LRSF"?

I know of a certain 2 controllers who will be going for the MoLRSF

I don't think I have any characters that would switch in concept, so if I do any switching, or dabbling in the gray areas, it would be just to experience new content (or different content) without having to start over.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

I would guess that the Devs would create some kind of incentive to stay pure Hero or Villain (or to convert and stick to one). If they don't, I'll be all Rogues/Vigilantes as well.

I've never played very villainous villains, so I'll be turning all my mercenaries, thieves and layabouts into official Rogues.

'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.

Yeh, i have a few unused heroes(which are nothing more than name placeholders at this point) that might get switched but my main ones and especially my fiddies are staying as they are. I will have to give it more thought. I guess the one that could be intriguing would be my rad/rad... but I dunno. I had always planned to take my shield/elec tank redside anyhow, so that wasn't a problem.

Honestly, the switch with Myrmydon from Tanker to Brute has nothing to do with AT satisfaction and everything to do with concept. It looks like a Brute will fit the character concept better and I do need someone to run through Preatoria with, so why not my main? As for the other two, I've always wanted to see if Dark and Rad were more fun as Corruptors but I didn't want to restrict my teaming just to the six people that actually play redside.

Poor redside, aside from SFs and nostalgia, its pretty much going to be a graveyard six months to a year after the badgers get done with it.

I like seeing all the dream scenarios for all this or all that TF/SF but really those dont interest me one bit. Those teams are neat, but just not interesting enough for me to participate. I do plan on tanking.. err taking my main hero to rogue isles as vigilante. But I will be partaking in the new powersets first.
