I hold my money in all types of places on the market. Normally things like lvl10 Glad Armor procs and pretty much every random lvl of a Glad Jav proc piece under lvl 50. =)

That is what these people do as well. But when they wipe the market of bids you will get the inf you have bid back. If you have more than 2bill inf combined on the char and in bids, as it stands everything over 2b will go bye bye.
If you have 2b on every glad from 10->49, you will lose 76 or 78 billion when GR hits. depending on how much your char is holding.

People are assuming that, because right now there's no way to have a "canceled" bid sit there with money to claim, that it can't work that way. It's certainly a safe assumption, and I'd recommend that anyone who can, claim their market stuff no matter what is really going to happen.

My guess is that they already had some kind of market purge or refund script coded, or that such a script would be easier to code than a merge script.
Once both markets are empty they just make a new empty market and point everyone to it.

That's how I read it. I think people might be assuming that, since they've never seen canceled bids just sitting on the market, unclaimed, that this can't be what was actually meant.

I just realized this is going to take away one of the big things I was looking forward to in GR!
I was going to mock Villains complaining "ooooooh it's not fair," and I could go "well, become a Hero!" and they'd be like "no, I want 2b evil!" and I could be all like "Haha! Then it's your own fault you suck!" and they could go "nnnnnnuuuuuuuuuu, it's truuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeee" and be all emo some more.
Now all I've got it "Wow, good thing they merged so we still don't have any supply!"
