  4. Good luck to you, Mac. Stay safe!
  5. I'm one of the "lucky" ones who isn't able to log in. The patch downloaded and applied without issue. Once the game starts, the "server not available..." message appears when you select a server.
  6. I'm certain I have space for a coaltion. Drop me a note in game and we can talk.

    Teleport Beacons

I'm assuming you have permission to edit your base, so here goes:

Use the basic forge to create a teleporter.

Place the teleporter in a transportation room by selecting "Place Personal Object." You to be standing in the Secret Entry.

Once the TP unit is placed, Enter "Base Edit" mode.

Go to the TP room where you placed the TP unit.

    Adjust its position, if needed.

Select "Place Item" from the menu. You should see an option for Teleport Beacons.

Select the beacon you want to use.

Please note that you can't mix arcane and tech.
  8. Put me down as an alternate. Malevolent Hand, 46 DS/DM MM.
  9. I'll sign up for this - Malignant Hand, 33 DS/DM MM

    Market Merging

People are assuming that, because right now there's no way to have a "canceled" bid sit there with money to claim, that it can't work that way. It's certainly a safe assumption, and I'd recommend that anyone who can, claim their market stuff no matter what is really going to happen.
I thought the thread indicated that cancelled bids would go into a stored state, similar to selling an item and not claming the Inf for it. Or did I mis-read that?
  11. I logged in and saw the announcement and just about fell out of my chair. I'm so glad this is happening.

In truth, I'm more excited about being able to send stuff cross-faction and actually be able to give a team mate an inspiration in co-op missions.

If prices for things go up, it's not a big deal. Making Inf in this game is stupidly easy.

    This.

The Goat Rules confirms my rule - "The last one will be very expensive."
  13. I'm a definite "go" and will bring a Fire/Dark corr.
  14. Put me down as a "maybe". And I've got several toons I can bring.

  16. I'm defintely in for another try. And to Q's point, we did well for the first minute. Had Hami down to around 30% or so, then the wheels fell off. The DPS fell of a cliff and we never recovered.

Also, for this issue, I think (actually, I HOPE lol) ridiculous bids on level 50+ set IOs still functions as a method to prevent one from accidently overbidding.

  18. Haven't had any issues with globals, but have had the odd flashes, usually when clicking on something in my salvage inventory.

As Q said, had lots of crashes blueside at the market. Oddly enough, didn't have any issues with the redside market.

    A Senior Moment

Before you reinstall, go to your current COH folder and look for the file starting with your global. That file contains any notes, etc. that you have made. Copy it, then copy it to the new install folder.
  20. Can't! Still at work, but am considering taking a "sick" day tomorrow
  21. Sign me up, but not sure what I'll bring.

    Redside purples

So infamy came naturally from this and you had to work to get influence out of it.

... some purple prices are slowly starting to come down, looks like. May reverse in a hurry this weekend.
During this time, RWZ AE was jammed with MMs and pets.

Regarding purples, the prices have been steadily climbing over the last year. IOs you were able to get for 40 -50 million are now 400+.

My thinking is that AE is the root-cause of the increase in price. Pre-AE, if you wanted to PL a toon, you'd use a regular level 50 map, generating lots of drop. With the advent of AE, you'd use a customized map and generate no drops.

Maybe something to even out production by level.

If something changes to throw the equilibrium out-of-whack, react (slow down generation of inf, adjust merits to account for extra inf). Is production skewed to 50 because of holding out on rolls, or an aging of the character population (is 85% of red-side now at lvl 50 and only generating lvl 50 recipes)? Maybe merit rolls should be cheaper for lower-level characters (similar to how tickets work, but based on the character level rather than recipe level). Maybe drop rates for 50s should be lower than at 25.

    (ok, enough rambling for now)
I thought about something like this, where the devs could adjust the drop rates based on the number of players. Determine a baseline, then adjust periodically when the actual rates varies.

The thing I struggle with redside is finding sets below level 50. Players are spending less time in the mid-levels (my perception.) In addition, players are using AE for leveling rather than a mission, skewing drop rates.

As to the suggestion of having a store with everything, not an idea I can support.
