Heh, Just when I was Trolling the PVP forums to find out where to go to try out some PvP. Now, I don't have to roll a new toon on Freedom just to try out some stuff.

Ivan Spectre- Arachnos Soldier Lvl-50 on
The Grey Guard- BS/Sh Scrapper Lvl- 50 Protector
Ivaniva Spectre- WP/SS Tanker Lvl- 50
Bakuhatsu- DP/DM Corrupter Lvl- 45
First Week was pretty good, we had a good time! We would really like to see some more new people there, I know alot of people say "they dont have a toon for pvp" or they "dont know how to pvp"; but they should come try it out anyway! Who knows, you MIGHT actually have some FUN!
Some people who havent had much pvp experience had a great time and are now looking into making a build just to pvp. (I.E. Talbein!)
We would especially like to see some of the famous Protector Faces show up to represent!

We think that protector is the best server on the game, because it has the best people; really hope to see some of you all there on thursdays!
OK, I'll take some of that action - if only to give players the cathartic enjoyment of slamming my toons repeatedly against the floor. 
No PVP builds (yet), and powersets mostly un-optimised for it, but this'll be fun regardless.
Unless there's something unexpected Thursday this week, I'll be there. 
Plus, if Talbein is there I can...

How'd I miss this topic? I think I'm off Thursday evening next week, so I'll certainly try to show. I miss the TNFs from a year ago or so before I had to unsub for the last two semesters.

I was feeling particularly wasted yesterday after work and a loooong commute, so I figured I'd sit this one out instead of frustrating myself and others with my foul mood.
Can't make it for the next 2 weeks (Real Life and Canadian holidays), but I'll make up for it in the coming weeks.

99.9% sure it is, as I was talking to shining Magic just the other day about including some PvP into New PLayer Night, and we then settled on having NPN on PVP night for convenience's sake.
That said, just wante dto throw it out there that the TNF regulars are a fun bunch.

Thursday Night Fights on Protector are returning!
Thursday Nights at roughly 8pm EST (5pm PST) We will be starting arena events of all different varieties. The standard settings will be "no heal decay" and "no travel supression" and "no Inspirations"; Though different settings can and will be used for various matches to keep things interesting, such as Insps allowed, no Diminishing returns, no travel powers, and so forth.
We highly encourage any and all people to come to the event, as long as your toon is lvl 50, lower levels would be at an unfair disadvantage. We especially hope anyone who is new to pvp will feel welcome, there will be some good pvpers there as well but most all have agreed to take it easy on anyone who considers themselves new.
This will be a fun and carefree environment, so please leave any grudges/trashtalk out of the event, everyone will just be there to have fun and enjoy themselves.
SO if you are a pvper, or not but just want to have some fun, please come on down to Pocket D on thursday Night at 8pm EST! We look forward to seeing you there!
