A wealthy benefactor who wishes to remain anonymous has paid the ransom in full for all 10 sceintists! In addition they paid extra as a request that MoD will not Kidnap the scientists again until after the new year.

So to all you people out there who want to get nukes, you are able to do so for the rest of 2010. However, now that this has shown to be a profitable venture, you can expect that it will most likely be repeated again in the very near future!

The Ministry of Darkness, (Protector's most feared and evil villain group) has hatched an evil scheme! Agents of MoD have kidnapped ALL of the scientists in Warburg! This means that there will be no getting of nukes until our demands are met!

We have decided that we will ransom off each scientist for 200 million Inf each, or you can get a discounted price of 1.5 billion for 10! What a Steal! Other Deals may be made, but they also may involve having to beat one or more of us in an Arena Match!

So to all you people out there who have a need for a nuke, gather your Infamy and send an offline tell to either @Shining Magic or @Evil Chiller X! Mua ha ha ha ha ha!

Yes, some people do still pvp on Protector, I would be one of them. I am ready and willing to pvp pretty much any time that I am online, which sadly is most often late at night and in the mornings as I work a night shift.

Every Thursday (mostly) we do Thursday Night Fights, which are fun and friendly arena events that new people are welcome and encouraged to join in. We usually all meet in the pocket D arena at 8pm EST, though you can join the events from anywhere by going to menu-arena.
Most Weeks the TNF is sponsored by our SG, Innocent Wrath, and we give out prizes for events and for new people who try hard. In past weeks we have given out: Miracle +recovery, Numina +regen/recovery, LOTG +recharge, as well as many purple IOs and a list of other random-but-expensive IOs. We also are aiming to give out 50 million inf each week to the person we dub as "new person of the week."

This is all an attempt to get more people to come give pvp a chance instead of just ignoring it as it seems a great portion of the CoX population does.

So if you are interested in pvp you should come to Pocket D on thursdays at 8pm EST!

First Week was pretty good, we had a good time! We would really like to see some more new people there, I know alot of people say "they dont have a toon for pvp" or they "dont know how to pvp"; but they should come try it out anyway! Who knows, you MIGHT actually have some FUN!

Some people who havent had much pvp experience had a great time and are now looking into making a build just to pvp. (I.E. Talbein!)

We would especially like to see some of the famous Protector Faces show up to represent!

We think that protector is the best server on the game, because it has the best people; really hope to see some of you all there on thursdays!

Thursday Night Fights on Protector are returning!

Thursday Nights at roughly 8pm EST (5pm PST) We will be starting arena events of all different varieties. The standard settings will be "no heal decay" and "no travel supression" and "no Inspirations"; Though different settings can and will be used for various matches to keep things interesting, such as Insps allowed, no Diminishing returns, no travel powers, and so forth.

We highly encourage any and all people to come to the event, as long as your toon is lvl 50, lower levels would be at an unfair disadvantage. We especially hope anyone who is new to pvp will feel welcome, there will be some good pvpers there as well but most all have agreed to take it easy on anyone who considers themselves new.

This will be a fun and carefree environment, so please leave any grudges/trashtalk out of the event, everyone will just be there to have fun and enjoy themselves.

SO if you are a pvper, or not but just want to have some fun, please come on down to Pocket D on thursday Night at 8pm EST! We look forward to seeing you there!
