Theres only so much the community can take.
I really don't understand why you keep providing ncsoft with money and in turn keep the servers alive.
When the EU fails to provide profit, something WILL be done.

I think that some people are really getting way too worked up and... (Gah, I can't think of the word. Maybe I'll edit it in later) about it, but I certainly agree that the inequality is getting out of hand. I can understand it with competitions and such because Paragon Studios have to jump through half a dozen extra legal hoops to get it to us, but the updater?
However, I, like Golden Girl, remain optimistic. We're a dying breed and we need to keep at it to survive.

Actually, while we're on this topic, why is it we had different updaters to begin with? Not different executables, I get that. But why do the americans get the pictures that change with updates (last time I checked), while the Europeans get the rather dull perma-'Statesman vs Recluse' text-filled version?
I mean, is it possible that our updater update's taking longer because they're shifting ours about to be prettier? It's a slim chance, but I think I'll go on hoping. 
The NCSoft Launcher hasn't been updated since 2009..... Last thing it has is I14 Architect Release on Wednesday 8th April 2009.

Oddly enough, I prefer the actual look of the EU updater to the US one; it's cleaner, less cluttered, I can easily tell where everything is rather than getting eyer@pe.
But, like the website, having bits of it be actually outdated really sucks.
