Healing badge mystery - almost Empath from Vengeance?

So I was compiling my badge checklist on my level 50 blaster, and noticed something unusual.



This is on my blaster, who has never had Medicine pool, never used healing Day Job powers, and maybe used a Drop of Life a dozen or so times during Valentine's Day events. The only power he has that would significantly be contributing to these badges is Vengeance, from the Leadership pool.

But 7.7M? Seriously?

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Is it a bug with the badges? A bug with Vengeance? A bug with Drops of Life? Did I overlook some other form of healing? Or are the teams I'm in really that bad?

And if I get the 10M badge, do I get to advertise my blaster in Broadcasts as an Empath with my AoE healing power on auto?

i know for a fact that vengeance does count for heal badges because it does have a healing component, my stone brute with 0 ally heals, has done 0 gladiator matches, and has used 0 powers that heal other than veng has almost gotten up to 100k heal points with nothing but veng (i tend to solo a lot tis why it doesnt go faster)

If the OP has teammates that frequently use the Veteran Fairy or Wisp pets, those are good for some really high healing credit. You should see how much credit I get on my pain Corruptor with just the passive periodic heal Aura on and a few Fairy pets in range. Use the single target heal on them and/or get a large group of them in an Aura and you are talking easy badges.

I'm curious how much credit they would give toward Vengeance. I wonder if a Vengeance going off while a Creeper Vines is out would net you some good points as well.

As stated above, it's likely gladiator matches. My blaster has the empath badge and has never had any healing power.
