when trident says this product contains sacarin(sp) which is known to cause cancer in Lab animals. Therefore 3 out of 4 dentist prefer you get cancer instead of cavities.
(Note the last time I looked on trident gum was in the `90's so I am not sure if ie still contains the same sugar substitute.)
