Open Season (Open RP)

Leeches patted the snipers back, "A good hit my child, a good hit, it seems hes a resiliant one, must be rather old. It seems we may have to deal with this one differently".

She said telepathically to ten of the snipers, "Cover that war machine, someones tampering with it, fire at will, we need that machine as our heavy support".

So ten of the snipers stopped firing at the Cathedral and started firing to protect and cover the war machine, thir aim was improving it seemed. Leeches sighed, she wanted to wait for the attack command, she was not sure what she should do. She would act soon though, she was making sure there were no more surprises and she looked at her waiting soldiers who were getting eager.

She smirked at there eagerness and said quietly,"Soon".

Mystic Ghost appears over head her eyes scanning for her brother. Then she spotted him laying on the ground a burnt patch on his back. "GABRIEL!" She looks around and homes in on the War Machine.

Once over it she summons as much power as she could "FALLEN HEROES HEAR MY PLEA! ARISE AND FIGHT FOR RIGHT ONCE MORE!" Spirits of Three Longbow officers appear perhaps victims of the Titan's first assault. Right away the Longbow spirits started attacking blasting the mech with Lighting and energy blasts.

"That's not all Folks this ghost got more up her sleeve! Spectral Terror I summon you from the abyss!" With that the shade manifested sending horrors into the minds of it's targets.

Then she summoned the Phantasm who also started attacking the Mech.

Her hair was going wild with her rage at seeing her brother wounded she drew from the Mech itself energy and adding it to the spirital force she summoned (Siphon Power). She also focused on a Radiation blasting Scientist. A soon his face drew a blank expression and he sent a blast into another Scientist his mind now under her control. (Deceive)

On top of the Titan mech, Sword Runner and Rack Up battle furiously. Ever strike Sword made was parried by Micheal's knife, and every shot Micheal got off at Sword was deflected by Sword's energy shields. As snipers began to take pot shots at the pair, Sword decided enough was enough. making a spining attack, he forced Miceal back, sniper bullets reflected by his shields. He made a downward slash at Micheal, laying almost helplessly on the metal plated head of the war machine.

Micheal saw the swipe coming and dodged to one side, around as Sword burried his blade into the metal. Micheal lept to his feet, throwing an explosive charge onto the head of the monster. reloading, he turned to face Sword, or where he had been. Sword appeared behind Micheal. his stealth suit making it an easy job. As Micheal realised what had happened, Sword Runner kicked him in the back, sending Micheal across the mechs head, right to the edge. Standing over him, Sword Runner raised his foot, and kicked Micheal off the head of the Titan.

As Micheal fell, he smiled, for it was already too late. he flicked the switch on his belt, and the explosives he'd planted detonated.

Sword watched the man fall, his energy shield starting to fail from all the shots being reflected. It will take time to reset, but im done here, that fool believed he could beat m-. Sword's train of thought was derailed by an explosion behind him. His shield unable to hold out, Sword was caught in the blast and sent flying, his armour scorched and dented, but still in one piece.

Camouflage was a bit disorientated upon appearing next to Misty over teh battle ground but quickly regained his posture... His battle gear appeared and with it a huge machine gun. Standing his ground he emptied the thing shooting ghostly bullets all around. Each of the fully blasts possessed scientists it hit ended up in a destroyed demon inside. They fell down but the possessed glow in their eyes had dissappeared adn they seemed unconscious only.

As soon as the gun ran out he used it as a club... hitting the upstorming demon full-face, loosing his helmet in the process. "Semper Fi!, you other-dimensional creeps...", he yelled out. A full blow of his now solid fist made him realise his rage and the just cause of this all had given him more solid form. "Ha!", he smiled... Then jumped in-between a group of possessed and started hitting around him. "Geronimo!"

Leeches saw the explosion on the mech and could wait no longer, things were getting out of control, she swore her snipers continued their attack, they had failed but it was ok there were other plans. She then recived the command, and jumped in to attack, her teleporter seding her and her troops close to the cathedral and she and her soldiers opened fire with all their might. At the same time ehr robots opened fire with gas and high explosive rockets and Leeches fired at anyone she could see as she and her soldiers stood in the way of the Cathedrals doors.

"Anyone who wishes is welcome to surrender and throw theirselves at my mercy, otherwise me and my soldiers will take you down!

Some of her soldiers possitioned theirselves behind her ten behind and ten in front, Leeches said to four of them, "Come with me, we must get to the bell tower, somone interrupted the teleport, the rest of you capture or destroy the fools here!

With that she hovered inside with her four bodyguards following her, she in turn was following the heroes that had just entered.

Launching himself at Bathory, Blade brought his sword arround in a swiping arc, but before he could make contact, Alex Balfear crashed into his side and dragged him into the bell tower. Blade spun his sword and brought it down in a rounded arc, carving towards Alex, who causght the blade and spun with it, bringing Blade round and smashing him into the wall of the tower. Blade's armour was enough to withstand the blow, and he got back to his feet. "so we meet again Alex, listen to me, you dont have to do this, you dont have to serve that foolish woman", Blade cried out, trying to reach his cousin's sences. "you fool, you think im forced to serve her? i do this willingly, so that i may kill you, and take vengence" replied Alex before swiping his claws at Blade, one swipe grazing the armour, the other blocked and countered by Blade's sword, which wiped up and struke Alex across the chest. The wound would have cut a normal man in two, but Alex Balfear was in no way human, and the cut healed easily. "you think to hurt me with that toy Cousin? your elf friend didnt frighten me with his, and neither do you!"

There was a series of small explosions from within the frame of the advancing robot and it lurched to one side, limping and coming to a halt. This was followed by yet more flashes from within its fuselage, culminating in a shriek of tearing metal as one of its mighty cannons drooped and came free, falling to the floor like a collapsed chimney stack.

It stood there, looming out of the Astoria fog like some morbid monument, while the sparking of torn wires and connections sent a cascade of tiny motes bouncing off its armoured legs. It twisted its torso slightly and evaluated the newly risen enemy that had made itself known as protector of the cathedral. In anticipation of attack it ceased its firing and the air crackled around it, forming into a glowing, protective shield bubble, of the sort Dr Carmine was known to use for personal defence.

Her Ghostly laugh might just be on the verge of sounding insane at the very least evil. However she was focused on getting her revenge on the Possessed Scientist that harmed her big brother.

She flew down to hover near Camouflage her Summoned spirit warriors were following... well except the Spectral terror who faded back into the Abyss. "Let see if they like this!" She let out a wail as she drew on a large number of the foes draining them of strength and then giving it to Camouflage and her troops. (Fulcrum Shift)

Micheal might also be close enough to feel the spiritual boost from the avenging spirit of Misty Sinclare.

She cast her spiritual force at one of the Scientist and his body became covered with oozing blisters. They were the result of Spectral Wounds but the effect was him screaming out in pain and firing a Dark blast at her. She felt her ectoplasm form rip as the blast passed through and wounding her.

Moving with Camouflage she reached out and took the life force of one of the foes he was fighting with directly. (Transfusion)

Sword had been thrown from the mecha, and his suit had just enough power left to save him. He activated his teleport and on the roof of a building not far from the mecha's undamaged cannon. unprotected by the constructs shields, he knew he had to get away from this battle, he was no more use to anyone. "curse Leeches and her damned snipers" he muttered to himself as he limbed away, his left leg injured but intaked. He looked over the battle field one last time, it looked like the battle had reached a stable point, with neither side winning or losing. Looking below him, he saw the rememnants of the two agent squad, only three of them left, fighting back to back as they were swarmed by scientists. He watched with a hint of glee and of sorrow. Glee at watching the agents get torn apart, and sorrow that he wasnt able to join in.

On the ground, close to the feet of the Titan, under a press of bodies lay Micheal. He knew he should be dead as he opened his eyes, and then pain flooded his body. Aganising pain of broken bones and torn muscles. He couldnt move, but that wasnt a problem, he didnt want to. He was tired and could feel the energy that had filled him following out again. Micheal closed his eyes once more.

Leeches stopped ehr advance, pious was attacking her, he dared! she turned her bodyguards firing at Pious and she chuckled, "Oh hello there pious and yes ill tear your church down, after I tear you down!

She nodded to her soldiers, "Give hima fight my children fire your energy pulses, fire everything".

"The soldiers rocket launchers popped out their shoulders and opened fire as they fired bullets and energy pulses at Pious, Leeches smirked inside her helmet she knew the knock back of energy weapons was infamous. She put her rifle away and pulled out her two ancient swords, it seemed the priest was angry. She watched her soldiers fall one by one, almost counting them off to herself, a pity they showed so much promise. A soul sword humm? She funneled Dark energy into ehr armour and around her to shield herself from this and raised her swords.

"So Pious finally we meet in combat, I have been waiting for this moment, you harmed my soldiers, my chosen, so much for diplomacy hummm? Oh well let us fight, lets see who god is truely with".

Leeches considered that and pondered it a little and swung her swords around slowly starting to circle Pious, and she said in a almost respectful tone.

" I am simply driven, you fight for your god I fight for my people, god will see that, who is the biggest monsters? you hunters never understand do you? To my people you are the monsters, the child killers, I am a hero and you are the villain!

She swung her swords faster and circled more and chuckled a bit trying to convice Pious she was crazy, "You like that speech? I wrote it myself".

Leeches looked at the approaching hero backup and smirked under her helmet, "I see need a army to give you courage".

She sent a telepathic message to her snipers, "Give me covering fire".

She then stood ready, "I am sorry, I wont be surrendering today, though, if you would like to surrender im sure Bathory would be, greatful, you wanted peace did you not? Then surrender, kneel before her, then your war shall end".

She closed her eyes and slowly her form started to get bigger, bat like wings sprouted out her back and her armour adapted itself to cover them as her feet turned to armoured claws and her hands did also still clutching her swords.

"Honour will not allow me to surrender, let this be our battlefield".

Then moving inhumanly fast she ran at pious pointing both her swords at him.

A female with white hair and jetblack skin suddenly appeared on top for the church, wielding something looking like a heavy mallet made out of lava, watching Pious and Leeches with a slight smile

Leeches swore and smashed into a table and slowly got up, typical hero, a coward, there would be a next time. she activated her communicator, "All sniper unites operation kamikaze is a go, bodyguard unit, target the bell tower till the bell tower collapses, that way he is wounded, then self destruct".

With that she stormed out of Pocket D and a few of the patron scuttled out of her way, she had other hunts to go on Pious was but one man. Bathory would deal with him in due course, Leeches knew what she needed to know, harm the church, harm the man. As that annoying advert on TV said 'simples'.

As soon as she left Pocket D she teleported to her base and recalled her downed soldiers with teleporters built into their armour, "No prizes for you priest, my soldiers are mine forever".

On the roof top the bodyguard robots targeted the bell tower, they opened fire with high explosive rockets, they seemed almost happy to be raining down destruction.

The snipers all stopped firing and screeched, and blades lifted out of theres hands, their eyes glowed red and they jumped off the roof and randomly ran into the approaching army screaming insanely. As soon as they reached the army though and got in striking distance the Cyberzombies seemed to explode violently.

The robots fired two more volleys of missiles and then started beeping their self destruction sequance had began but they were ready to fire more missiles, the tower would be destroyed. The mistress ordered it, it would be done.

Blade and Alex both saw the missles coming towards the bell tower, their fight having engrossed them almost to the point where all else had faded from view. The top of the tower had become a wreckage of wood and stone an metal as their fighting had gotten steadily more violent.

Blade moved to jump from the tower before the Missles hit, but Alex held him down, preventing him from escaping. As strong as Blade was, he was no match for his vampiric cousin. Blade twisted under his cousin and began punching him, his teleporter unable to safely carry more than one person, Blade had to get away and stop those missles.

Alex's eyes flashed as Blade realised his plan. They could both survive the impact and the fall and even the tower crushing them, but those below could not. From inside Blade's helmet came a voice "Blade, this is EVA, ready to begin ranged teleport". Blade began scanning each missle, Teleporting them away and re directing them at the Titanic Mech which Carmine had brought. "I wont let you destroy this Tower!" he shouted as he kicked Alex off of him, and began battling him in flight, focusing on defelcting both the missles, and Alex's attacks.

Back in Grandville, Dr Carmine studied a holographic presentation of the battle. The green and red glows of friendly and hostile units, respectively, made patterns across her reflective goggles. Grandville was not the most practical of places to navigate and certainly not the most friendly, but the vast web structure that covered it made a fine psychic transmitter and that allowed her to have a good idea of what was taking place in the battle, despite Astoria's mysterious nature.

She was thus far not greatly concerned. Her robot had many failsafes and there were far more plans than just "A and B". So far the opposing walker had not made a serious challenge to her creation, so she allowed it to sit behind its shield, to re-gather the advantage once again.

Back on the battlefield, the shield glowed brightly and many hatches began to fling off their lids and release a myriad of repair spiders which scuttled towards the damaged cannon and leg of the walker. It began a process of self repair and the tiny crawling drones welded, rewired and replated the damaged parts, chittering excitedly to one another as they went about their tasks.

On the rooftop it seemed the robots had overode the command to self destruct, they seemed intent on completing their destruction of the tower no matter what. Plus they belived they were serving the mistress better by giving Bathory some cover, as they understood it keeping her around was important to the mistress.

In her base Leeches watched her snipers explode, it was a trick though, they simply used a one jump teleportation device that let a explosvie charge off as the wearer teleported. Her snipers all appeared in the base and saluted her awaiting their next orders. Leeches was proud of her newest creations and said, "Deactivate, sleep well my children".

With that the Cyberzombies all stood to attention and the cybernetics closed down and the magic powering them seeped into a holding container, some of her scientists ran forwards and moved the Cyberzombies to the back wall of the room to await commands to activate. Perhaps pulling them out was rash, however she was not going to waste them.

With that she turned back into her more human form, she made her way to her bases medical wing. She looked at each soldier in turn, they would recover, losses had been light considering and she had learned things. She learned about the church, that Pious feared fighting her, that taking him down would take more than might alone and she wanted a soul sword. As she thought this a hulking figure of her Cybernetic bodyguard and chief enforcer entered the room and she smirked and said, "Oh about time you showed up, how did your mission go?

"It went well mistress, the beacons are in place, want me to join the battle you errm left?

"No I believe that battle is coming to a end, though be ready with that gang of werewolves just in case. I am sure you can 'persuade' them to be patient".

The overseer chuckled and smiled evilly as stone chunks lifted out his body and a stome hammer appeard in his hands, "They will be kept right in order mistress".
