Right below this thread when I looked on the forum was a thread in which someone asked for help with a broadsword scrapper. So yes, I think people do still play them.

haymaker, havoc punch, bone smasher, seismic smash, air superiority
incandescent strike, total focus, thunder strike, tremor
War Mace, Battle Axe, Broad Sword, all blunt weapons you'd use to maim your enemy with, they're not supposed to be flashy and pretty.

Twilight, could you post your build? I've been trying with mid's to figure out how to get to the soft caps on defenses but melee keeps coming in too high (57%) and range and AoE keep falling short by over 10% (34.1%). It may be because I don't have in IO sets yet, but on one of the guides the soft caps were reached and yet when I tried to duplicate it, I had the same short numbers.
Any and all help appreciated. Especially the build from the toon show. : )

I exemp mine down to level 14 for the oro missions regularly and have a quite functional time with hack, slice and air superiority. When I'm just a bit higher and have parry also, it's plenty easy. My only complaint with the vanguard broadsword is that it is really a short sword. I like the size of the legacy broadsword and the rikti sword. And I really wish the vanguard broadsword was that scale. The vanguard katana looks too thin and delicate. Great for katana, not so much for broadsword. |
