My recommendation would be a DM/Shield or SS/WP with S/L softcap optional.

Stone/ela/dark
I've done it with both SR and SD brutes, both with DM as primary. SD had slightly higher DPS, but SR was cheaper to build.
Any/any if you're using insps.
Pretty much anything except elec/ and possibly BA/ if you don't use any.
All the secondary can do, it will just change wich AVs you can solo and what you need to build for.

My DM/WP was doin the no insp av defeats at 27 or 28, my current project is claws/sr. I love me some /sr.
Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?
Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?
