  1. No, just toggles up with no enemies around. No inspirs. Mids is reporting higher results than what Combat Attributes are, and the difference is significant. I've tried updating the program, so not sure what the deal is at this point.

Another point, the Resistance is pretty much spot on.... weird.....

Okay think I figured it out. Mids must be based on 1 foe in melee range for Invincibility for the totals. When I go near 1 enemy, the totals are then pretty much spot on, give or take a few points.
  2. I have the latest version that I am aware of, 100510 V1.707.
  3. Been messing around with Mids, and wanted to get to soft cap on defense. My build on mids shows me at 41.3% However, when I look at it on combat attributes, I am only at 33.19% This is referring to Smashing as an example.
Am I missing something here? I have all the toggles on, so I am puzzled to say the least. Someone mentioned to me that Mids numbers are off a bit. Well, this is more than just a bit, and makes Mids useless when trying to come close to soft cap. So, is it just the way Mids works and we have to live with it or again, am I missing something here?
  4. Perfect thanks. Was at 41.3 and with another set of kinetic combat, should get me to where I want to be (45). Thanks for the replies. Appreciated.
  5. So, while this info is quite helpful, what is the softcap for defense on a ss/invul Brute. I'm at 41 now, but can easily take it to 45 without sacrificing too much recovery. How close will 45 be to softcap?

    RWZ Beacon

Was told that the Unabashed Badge wasn't needed for the RWZ Beacon. However, is this still true? Acquired all the exploration badges except for this one, and did not get the RWZ Beacon. Has this changed? Thanks in advance!
  7. Below is my build. I have absolutely no end problems. Yes, you will still get the rage and hasten crash which will go 50%, but mine works wonderfully well with the way I have things slotted. I run +3/8 with bosses, and can run +4/8 - just takes longer to kill the buggers. Build was tweaked especially for my play style, and this is what I farm and team with. The Mids build was done in a hurry in Dynamic mode, so it does not reflect how I leveled or slotted during leveling. Just wanted to give you something to go on. Also - not all attacks are 6 slotted, as I depend on my aoe's which works out great for the mobs I encounter. My recovery is outstanding, and end use very manageable. Also Taunt is 6 slotted for the nice bonus set. With this build I can go mob to mob non stop. I take 1 purp into each mob and go fast to keep fury built up. Hope this helps, and like I said, its built for my play style so tweak accordingly! Also - get your accolades!

  8. Couple of questions pop to mind when working with Mids that I need some clarification on: This pertains to the info box under the "Enhance Tab"

    1. Some of the info displayed is in white, some in yellow, some in green, and some in red. Can someone please explain what they all mean? They all have to do with ED applied.

    2. What does "ED" mean? I see the "This effect has not been affected by ED". These totals are all in white.

    3. An example of one in red - Damage 101.86% (Pre-Ed 145.75%) This is in red.

I've looked in the read me, but no clear explanation exists, unless I didnt look far enough into it.
  9. Woody

    Best AV Brute

Just curious as to what the best brute would be going head to head with an AV, without having to worry about end issues, while providing the damage necessary. Talking solo here, if it can be done.....
  10. Hey Kotchie,

This is Saura - your Kin Corr from last nights successful run. Add me @Woody- if you run again and need a kin to keep ya in high fashion.

By the way - great job last night on leading the team through this. You and M1nd were awesome, took your time, and the results speak for themselves.

    Again - nice job.....
  11. Currently working with Mids Builder, to look at variety of sets for my Brute. Being new to the crafted enhancements, I thought I would try a variety of sets to create a balance.

Couple of questions come to mind....

    1. What is Soft Cap?
    2. On Mids Builder, I see a statement on "View Active Sets" that says the
    following:
"One or more set bonuses have exceeded the 5 bonus cap, and will not affect your stats. Scroll down this list to find bonuses marked as '>Cap'

In my case, it has to do with Recovery. Is their a cap on Recovery? Or is it just in Mids?

Here are a couple of examples:

    Performance Shifter
    (Electrifying Fences)
    5% JumpSpeed, 5% JumpHeight, 5% FlySpeed, 5% RunSpeed
    28.1 HP (1.88%) HitPoints`
    2.5% (0.04 End/sec) Recovery >Cap

    Impervium Armor
    (Tough)
    2.5% (0.04 End/sec) Recovery >Cap
    1.88% Defense(Psionic)
    2.25% Max End
  12. Very good input. After being away for awhile, I am just now starting to get a better understanding of the set bonuses.
I will take your advice, as your input has been very instructional.
This toons primary focus will be farming for infamy, so defense bonuses are definately what I am after. Any help there would be appreciated. Thanks again man......
  13. Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I can see where the additional travel power is not needed, and weave should be included. Thanks for that, good point.
However, taunt was taken late in the build - so my question is - why would that be an issue? It works perfectly for the occasional pull, and invinc is a taunt by nature. Please clarify for my own understanding.
    Thanks in advance, appreciate it!
  14. Format has been changed. Thanks
  15. Hey gang, would like a critique on a level 50 ss/invul build that I currently have. I have been away for quite awhile, and still trying to become more familiar with the recipe/crafted enhancements. Any and all comments are welcome. I am ususally the lead brute in my SG, so survivability is important, along with soloing.... Thanks in advance!
