I can get 1 mill a piece if I wait until right before the winter event. Selling them now for 27k each is definitely not profit.
But good luck, I bet there are plenty who'd be glad to dump them.

I always save mine until just before the event for MAX PROFIT.
it's one of those obvious calls like stocking up on respec recipes right after they hand out a freespec, easy money.

Yeah... I remember last winter event. The week before the event started, I sold them for 500k a piece....
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
So, are you guys telling me these things to open the haggling?
Or are you just trying to talk me into dumping my canes on the market at the same time as everybody else so we can all profit from a market glut before the event?
'Cause I'll haggle.

We couldn't dump enough canes to make a difference anyway, demand as the event approaches reaches an insatiable fever pitch.

Geez, guys. Canes fly out of our butts during Winter Event. I think I might have 100 canes among all my toons, but I'm not transferring them around for 5m. Oh, and I'm only blue side, so, like, nevermind.
Oh, and as for making 27k on them now or 500k on them in December I got two words: The Time Value of Money. Though in this instance we're not talking about interest but opportunity. You can probably turn 27k into over 500k by December...uh...well...maybe not. Nevermindx2.

How many can each toon carry? I'm guessing 9999. So you have 20 toons involved?
Just on Guardian, I have 62 Marketeering Alts between my accounts.
Actual viable Market Drones in my Army of Ebil include 102 Heroes and 56 Villains across the servers. Now that we have Global Email Attachments, they are even more useful to me.
Each alt can hold 9999 and I have about 25 alts involved. Not all of them are capped at 9999, but hopefully this season becomes my Winter Wonderland.
Even as much as the above sounds, I'm nowhere near as wealthy as you would think. I really don't think I compare next to most of the Market Regulars. Maybe soon I'll step up my game and catch up.
