The Green Mito Situation

You may have heard that the Green Mitos are currently bugged so that they can't be held. I heard that on Virtue tonight, they fought the Greens for 40 minutes and only managed to kill two or three of them. Because of that, I canceled the raid I normally lead on Monday nights. Enri also canceled his villain raid for Tuesday night.

I don't know how other raid leaders feel about this, but I am putting my raids on hiatus until the situation is resolved.

Could always do a zerg raid and ignore the greens entirely...

are you talking about real hami raids? cause the green mito bug is only affecting the LGTF mini hami raid mitos, the real hami should be unaffected

Over on Champion we attempted a raid on Sunday night. The real green mitos were indeed nigh-unkillable. Their health refused to budge, even with the entire raid group wailing on them.

@Demobot

Also on Steam

It's all green mitos, on LGTF and on actual raids

I had to give up running no-retreat raids because people won't pay attention. I doubt this is an option.

I found this on one of the other threads, so might not be a bad idea to hold off until "next week".

zerg raid ain't the same as a no-retreat. a zerg means everyone buffs up (eats eoes as needed) and goes straight for hami till he's down.

I know. What I'm saying is that zergging takes coordination and people paying attention, not to mention coming equipped with nukes and EoE. And I have little faith in either of those things happening. People are to used to "follow person X, hit power Z."

Sort of.... yellow taunt teams and hami taunt are still positioned as in a regular type raid . Somewhere this strat is posted over in Virtue forums but its hard to find because it isn't its own topic. Rather, Sandolphan(sp?) outlined the strat used on Virtue zergs in an existing thread. Doing this type of strat is really fun... as in "OMFG ICAN'T BELIVE WE DID THAT" kind of fun.True.. theres a little more prep work but that can be made fun too. I volunteer to be butchered by anyone that wants my codes.Ya know ya wanna kill me....

Arwen? Just change the person X to a big group getting buffed and the y to hamidon. Voila!!

Yeah. I'm sorry I have my cynical pants on today. I just don't think any of the work arounds sound like much fun (or not enough fun compared to the set up - a negative return on investment, as it were). So I'm content with just not running raids until this is fixed.

The biggest issue always seem to be people not listening about when they need to pop their EoEs. When in doubt, pop an EoE. Nothing more frustrating than watching a dozen or so people buffed to the gills getting defeated and rezzed without any buffs.

I would /love/ to do Zerg raids more. I know we've done them once or twice at least before, and I had a blast. Getting nukes (or Shivans) isn't /that/ hard OR time consuming, and it isn't like there isn't a smaller "core" player group coming to hami raids that do more than most already.

It's not the number of core player groups, it's the non-lazy ones.

You too, eh? I've received some laughable neg rep in this thread too. Fortunately, some people sound like broken records, so it's not hard to figure out who said what.

The tag is a nice touch too, if a tad creepy.

Yup, I'll lead a Hami raid on Monday night and see how it goes.

The worst that can happen is that we all die horribly.
