Horrible delay lag
You all may want to try to use the net info tool here. DL and run it and it will show your route and give information about loss along the way. That may well pinpoint the culprit.

There's two types of lag here, and we might want to split it into two threads to not confuse people - There's the 'input lag' which is when you tap 'w' for a split second but the game reads it as holding W down for 5+ seconds - which is usually happening while you still have perfect latency, no lag, high fps, etc., and there's plain ol' rubberbanding, which is probably internet related.
The keyboard issue seems to be due to CoX somehow being incompatible with certain services relating to keyboard, while rubberbanding could be anything.
Well I replaced all of the fittings from pole to house on my line, swapped my modem out, and still having issues. The primary issues seem to be moving forward, or key tapping for attacks and buffs. Seeing how Ashcraft lives in Dayton and I in Springfield, it's probably good ole TWC lol. My old supervisor is checking with the tech department there to see if they have been getting a high volume of internet related issues in the area. I don't mind lagging a little, but the bouncing back drives me nuts.
Afterimage, what video card do you have in your iMac? What version of the OS are you running?

Nvidia GeForce GT 120
Not using ultra mode graphics.
Tried again today, saw another patch. Better performance but still annoyingly bad. Rubberbanding, but with smaller jerks. Combat animations played about 2/3 of the time.
I get ridiculous lag now also. It is not quite as long as the original poster's but it is still incredibly annoying.
I have played the game for years and literally never had lag issues outside of an ITF...there is something wrong with i17's graphics. And yes, I have updated my drivers and no I'm not running Ultimate mode. Graphics still lag even when they're at absolute minimum.
I have a quad core processor, 4 gb of ram, new asus mb, and a 500mb nvidia GPU.
The two links below show the netgraphs from a recent run of mishs. The first is not so laggy, but the second showing yellow is a lot of rubberbanding and non responsive button mashing

I've exhausted all my efforts from my end and still nothing (short of throwing out my computer that is just a few months old). In case anyone in the tech department might be curious here are the stats on my rig:
Manufacturer:HP-Pavilion
Processor:AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630 Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory:6144MB RAM
Hard Drive:988 GB
Video Card:NVIDIA GeForce 9100
Sound Card:Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Keyboard:USB Root Hub
Mouse:USB Root Hub
Mouse Surface:Pad
Operating System:Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)
All of my drivers are up to date and, as mentioned before, I've overhauled of my equipment for getting online. So I don't know what else to do.
Murdok and Sabertalon:
Are you seeing the same problems on the Training Room? The Training Room as a possible fix.
On the Training Room I am not seeing the sort of network lag issues associated with Ultra Mode that I'm seeing on the live servers.
@Demobot
Also on Steam
I just want to chime in and say I'm having this issue as well. Also Ohio/Time Warner here.
