50/50 on Nuclear Fyre goodness tonight. I have a date and am then supposed to work on a friend's PS3/'puter hook up that has suddenly stopped working.

Hope to see you all tonight!

I'm running with a LGTF tonight so I'll see you all next week! Have fun guys.

They is a very high chance I'm bailing tonight also as:

  1. Company is in town, but thankfully not at our house, but this will probably be a dinner with them.
  2. My new NZXT M59 case it out for delivery and if I don't transfer my machine from it's old and busted Raidmax Scorpio into the new case I will die. And I want to do the cable management right, so even if we don't have to do the social thing with the extended family, I'd probably not finish in time as the tracking says it's not there yet. They usually show up around six.
That said...can a 35+ take lower level toons along doing the mishs that Levantra [or whatever her name is in RWZ] gives? That could be cool. I'm especially thinking the outdoor ones.

As long as they're not level-locked TFs, you can take them along.

Okey doke.

Sorry for the lateness of the post.

We had 6 people show for Fire/Rads last night. Two of which were new to the group.

Instead of TF'ing, we opted for runs at the Rikti Warzone intro. Insane amounts of XP to follow running at +1x8 with bosses (the L14 gained 4 levels before having to leave early). A couple nasty near-TPKs, due to the mob distributions on certain maps. But we powered through.

No screenies tonight. Sorry.

Well, I'm glad you took my RWZ suggestion, but I feel left out, but I did it to myself. The NZXT M59 looks great though.

So, was most of it fairly one level stuff? I'm getting sick of the terrain messing with our effectiveness.

If people want, we can do this again next week. Several of us finally bumped into the levels necessary for the Vanguard intro.

Just got back into town and now I'm sick. Hopefully I will be back into robust form and can start back up on the weekly extravaganzas!

What is the necessary level? I just hit 36 myself. And will we be meeting in talos as usual or in Vanguard for this one?

I think you have to be 35 or above to earn the Vanguard Merits. You can join teams at any level in the zone, but for the merits you need to be 35+ to earn any.

You have complete the Vanguard intro (on your own mission I belive) to unlock the ability to get VMs. You have to be above level 35 to get the mission.

That said, I'd love to see a multi-team Fire/Rad run at a ship raid some time soon.

Extended family social obligations have a pretty good chance of making me miss tonight also.

Maybe not though. If I can I'll see you on the dirt mound.

Okay, had a good week again this week.

Nine people showed.

  • Zero Decay
  • SKY9r
  • 'xyNetiK
  • Wild West Pest
  • Vortex Core
  • Greased Wheels
  • Radical Burner
  • Scorched Remains
  • Zorinna
Because we had just over a team, we split and ran two teams. The first five, then the last four.

The second team ran the Posi and finished in about an hour and a half.

My team started the Vanguard intro arc. We got all the way up to the Rikti bombing mission at +1x8 (and were literally tearing things apart). Then real life intervened and I had to cut it short. No screenies, no nada.

GAH! NEED MY SCREENSHOTS!

Well, I'll see all you guys next week (hopefully).

We ran the 1st of the new Posi's in about 1 hours 20 minutes, run at +2 levels. A pretty decent run overall. Pic:

Anxious to get my newest FRAD to 35+. We added a 5th character (Tropical Burn, I believe) but they couldn't commit to a TF so ran with just the 4.

Looking forward to next week!

Looking forward to tonight. It has been awhile since Nuclear Fyre got to run around and have fun.

I'll be free tonight, what's on the plate that needs to be nuked?

Okay, been back from Indy for about 6 hours now. Unfortunately, got shanghaied into helping the female parental unit do some shopping.

I'm about to faceplant for a couple hours so I'm not going "Zzzzz-leeeroyyyyyyy-zzzzzzzz"

Haven't thought about what we can burn and nuke tonight. I'm open to suggestions.

How about an ITF? I have it open but I haven't run my frad through it yet.

I missed tonight. I was setting up AV stuff for my mother-in-law. She finds it easier to unplug cables and plug in others rather than hit the TV Input button. Old dogs, new tricks. Well, it's set up anyhow.

If you ran a Frad ITF without me I'll cry.

We missed you Posti!

Nice turnout tonight. Hype took a team of 8 and ran an ITF, I believe, and I and 6 others ran radio mishes.

We were set a bit high for the broad range of levels on the team. We started at +2, team size 7, on a team of 6. We started out well for a couple rooms against Council, but after a few team wipes, we reset and dropped it down a bit. We had:

Radical Burner
Gieger Ex Machina
B1aziken
Sun Stryke
Wild West Pest
Zug FRC

We lost Gieger during the 2nd mish and Greased Wheels joined in. We hit a 3rd mish, with just the final 4 on the team and that went pretty well, set for a team of 6. Here is the final shot I got:

I'm hoping my Frad will hit 35 by next week so won't be so limited in TFableness. Nice to see us growing more and more every week. Until next week!

I hate to say it but:

Try not to get me too wet while you sob.

Okay! We took our first stab at an ITF tonight. We had 5 people heading into Cimerora after we split into high and low teams. We picked up a tank, a blaster and, believe it or not, another fire/rad.

Mission 1 went pretty much flawlessly.

Mission 2 was a bit more difficult, as we were not watching our AoEs real well and were popping the crystals and dying. All in all though we ran the mission "kill em all" and didn't have too many issues. Nothing we couldn't recover from.

Mission 3 and lag hill. We had a bit of lag, but nothing horrendous. I was pleasantly surprised. We just marched up the hill, burning and nuking everything in sight. We had a couple of "aw crud" moments fighting the AVs, but nothing we couldn't hack. We hit the console last and had it down to a sliver before the 3rd wave of robots overwhelmed us. So we hit the hospital, came back and just eradicated them.

Mission 4: Again, we just marched right along, killing everything in our path. Worked real good for us. We cleared the area around Rommy and then faceplanted under a hail of nictus spawns.

I tried to get a bit more creative and got bit on our second run too.

On our third, we all dropped Rad Infection and went to town (I was also making liberal use of Envenomed Dagger). Deaths were had mostly all around on the last run, but spaced out so that it wasn't half the team wiping.

In the end...

So, while it was no master run, we did quite well. We were running the mish +2, which can be hard even on well-built teams.

I went into tonight half a bar from 37 and came out 39-1/2.

Good job to BOTH teams tonight!

As always, more screenshots HERE.
