Weekly Fire/Rad Goodness!
Sorry I missed the run... major issues at work... got home for about 25 minutes signed on to coh and was called back... did not get home until 10:30 or so.
Amazing what we can do in less than an hour.
Even with only three of us, and me having mouse problems, we mowed through everything. Though stupid carnies kept dropping my toggles.
Had a good time last night and got Flaming Poot [@Evil Samurai Jack] up to 35 so we can ITF next week, as if shards drop anymore. I can't get my damn Alpha slotted.
But, Hyper, why did you ask that person on the Midnighter's pug to turn off Tactics?
Also, man, pretty bad pug, we would be better w/o them. The blaster's brb and leaving herself in the mish once it was finished got OLD.
Sorry I didn't already have the midnighter thing done. I'm pretty clueless about 30+ stuff. I mostly make guys, play them for a while, get bored, make another guy, repeat.
I think I read elsewhere that the +perception makes the monkeys aggro from further away, so it might have been what was causing them to go chasing off after entire new groups on the other side of the room. Dunno though. That was definitely annoying. Darn monkeys.
Thanks again for the good times.

Sorry I missed the fun. Holiday and family commitments, and all. Looking forward to next week.
Also, Post, you can use the thread components to slot your Alpha. In fact it might be easier. I tend to get a lot of common and uncommon pieces from the trial grinds so they are more available than shards.

Has anyone seen info on how/when we'll be able to email a-merit tickets to our other toons? My frad works best with more than one AM applied, not so good on the trials.
Yeah, I'm going to have to do that. I remember at first I found the alternate recipes to be incredibly expensive, but now that we're all grinding for those powers, it's all the same. Though I need to unlock those boots first.

As of right now you cannot mail merits of any sort.
Just tried.
Not reward merits.
Not alignment merits.
You CAN use Empyrean merits to send threads to yourself via the Voucher system. 1 Emp = 18 Threads.
Okay guys and girls (and huges)!
Haven't been posting on this in a while, mostly because I've been acting like a lazy idiot. As a result, we haven't seen a lot of new blood in a while. Let's see if we can change that.
Figured I'd let you all know that the Freedom Fire/Rads group is still up and running every Monday night at 9PM Eastern. If you've never played with a group of Fire/Rads, come on down! If you have, come on back!

Had a nice run tonight. Short, but we tore it up.
Sorry it was as short as it was. I'm due to ship out to a convention early tomorrow morning and half the stuff I was supposed to get accomplished today by working from home didn't get done because I had a 8 solid hours of customers calling up with their hair on fire.
I should be back in plenty of time for the run next week though. Might be a little car-lagged. But hey.
And if you're in the Columbus area this week, stop by Origins and look me up at the Catalyst Game Labs booth.
