Who Will Be Starting Resistance Groups When GR Goes Live?

Just wondering if anyone has thought of doing a group of guerrilla fighters (AR blasters, most likely) along the lines of a radical group such as the IRA...perhaps the Praetorian Republican Army (PRA)? Just wondering if there were any plans or interest. I'm not active enough ingame to run such a group, but I wouldn't mind having an alt in such a group, for RP purposes.

Hmm I like this idea but why are you limiting it to AR Blasters my friend? I can bring you Masterminds with Mercs... trained soldiers including medics. Defenders and Corrupters brandishing Dual pistols. Stalkers sneaking in and out of Loyalist camps doing unimaginable damage. Illusion Controllers sneaking inside enemy lines and confusing the enemy into fighting themselves. Oh I almost fogot the Mastermind controlling a group of thugs that includes a suicidal arsonist tossing fire bombs everywhere.

The PRA will take any and all willing to fight until the vile dictator Marcus Cole is no more! LOL I think we should allow Archers.. An arrow makes very little sound until it goes thud in someone's chest :-D

I'm sure there will be plenty of new RP SGs out there with Loyalist and Resistance themes. I personally am in it for the cash.,. pay me enough and I will fight for whatever cause you like!

Even when an arrow does go 'thud', it's a lot quieter than a gun's 'bang'. You will of course need someone to defend the safehouses and bases. For that I suggest Traps defenders or corruptors. Traps masterminds make good cannon fodder to soften up the enemy defenses as well.

Mere resistance will not be enough.

What the rebels will need is a cause to fight for, a vision of a better world after the monarchists are deposed.

I can assure you that there will be certain agents provocateur among the resistance, and that they will make a stand for a certain political philosophy.

That said, I'm not sure I understand the name "Praetorian Resistance Alliance". What republic would the resistance be fighting to reclaim/establish? Personally I think "Praetorian Resistance Alliance" sounds much better.
