Well, technically, all the love and respect Statesman got because of her helping him could still count for her too

I rather like the idea of her as someone only Statesman knows about fully, and who he can talk to in private when he needs another perspective.

And Ms. Liberty ain't passionate, she's like a spoiled brat born with a silver spoon in her mouth, and acts all bitchy because of who her Mom & Grandpa are. She needs to be taken over someone's knee and put in her place....or tied up and flogged. Either way.

I'd really like to see the devs develop their friendship in-game in some way.

Besides, she's surprised as well when she generates the flame.

Of course, you're talking about one of the worst arcs in the end-game (To Save A Thousand Worlds? Man! I'm gonna be here a long time! *click-click-click-click-clickety-click-click-click* *sigh* *click-click-click-click-clcik-clicklicklicklicklicklicklicklicklicklicklicklick. ..* Man! This just goes on-and-on! Hey... Is that Requiem? What does he have to do with... Aw, it's over...).
Which is really too bad - this is a prime example of an arc with 'great concept, lousy execution.'

Hear, hear.

Three issues was not long enough for him to work with them.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."
