ill go out on a limb here, but, i thought you were wrong, and perhaps are not even playing the same game.
if you want to not make the archetypes..... some big word... UN- the -same? or whatever?why give them all the same things as everyone else?
you don't seem to just want to merge the servers,you want to merge everybody's everything.
i haven't read any responses or your entire post .but ill just say, 'color me dubious'.
i mean, you have seriously not had the same experience playing this game as i have. I swear,in no way have i felt things are as diabolically lacking in balance as you seem to feel.
there is no wrong way to feel.

A brute can do things a tank cannot. A tank can do things a brute cannot. A corruptor can do things that a defender cannot. A defender can do things a controller cannot. Does any of this mean we need to "fix" it so everyone can do everything? No! Because you end up at the conclusion I came to in the OP. Everyone will be the same and there won't be a point for ATs at all.
I wrote this whole thing to make that painfully obvious. The ATs are different. They do different things. Please understand that it needs to be left that way.

Here's the deal though. The people you're trying to make a point to? Won't get it. You use too many words, and not enough pictures. Especially when your revision goes back and adds more words.
The reason I maintain you're "trying to be funny" is that you're basically preaching to the choir. Which means you're looking for people to agree with you and chuckle at your sarcastic wit.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favor of tweaking people's noses. But there's no need to audience shop.

Look it's really simple, everyone needs to play warshades. They have it all: purple coloring, pets, damage, controls, resistance, stealth, did I mention purple coloring? And since they can teleport they don't have to walk to enemies.
I'm really disappointed that you missed the obvious solution is purpled out warshades for everyone.
I like purple.
