I really liked the animation on CO's pointy demon tail, although the barb on the end was bigger than I liked.
But wow, some of those look gawdawful.

So yes, CO has some nice tails but what are you trying to accomplish with this thread? Wait till the update and than complain...that's how other people do it. (well not all...if you go to the Going rogue forum).

couple of ways to do it.
The first, and older way, is to host two images on your original image server. One original size image, and one image that's scaled down. Use an external program like GIMP to resize the image and scale it down.

The second way is pretty much the same as first... Google's Picasa Image hosting service automatically scales an image down for linking in 144pixel, 288pixel, 400pixel, and 800pixel wide formats.

Once you have your two images:
You link the smaller image to the forum post, then wrap a URL link around the image to make a link if somebody wants the larger image size.
So the structure is <url>original image here<img>smaller image here</img></url>

So, what I did is:
save your original Deviant Art image to my hard-drive
uploaded it to Google Picasa Web
selected the 800pixel wide google image as the physical image in my post
listed your original Deviant Art image as the to-link URL object.

As a caveat, as of right now, Picasaweb doesn't allow you to assign a direct large size image link. If you want to see the larger version of an image on Picasaweb, you have to use Google's rather obtuse image scaling system.
And perhaps you can scale down your sig ^_^
I gotta say i dont like most of the current tails neither...
Hope theres an upgrade for them and the animated version. Devil tail is awful.
