Thank you Philly. Unfortunately, some people see us as more of a 'what', but.. That's actually not what I meant when I said that. Perhaps saying 'because of my condition' would have been better?
Anyway, I'm actually going out tonight all dressed up. Or as dressed as I can right now. I will probably be getting some ah... 'chest enhancements' in the near future. So at least I'll still have something while I'm developing. I'm still avoiding a wig for now, it's to expensive and I probably wouldn't wear it long enough to justify the expense.
I'm not going anywhere fancy. Just to a friend's for dinner, and then our support group meeting. But it's the first time going out done up to the extent that I am. I rarely wear much makeup, if any... So it should be interesting. Fear hasn't stopped me from doing what I really want before, it won't stop me from being who I really am now.

Last double xp weekend coincided with finals. This double xp weekend coincides with midterms. There is truely no justice in the world.

Just got in from running out and about today. Had to pick up meds, broke down and bought some makeup at the Back Bay CVS today. Also went to my counselor. Seeing him again right before the Meet and Greet...figure gonna need it that day before. I anticipate being a nervous wreck. It's been years since I've attended anything fan related, and suspect there will be a crowd...
Did I mention it's been years since I have been to a social function (and no, hubby's friend's sixteen year old sweet sixteen party doesn't count!)? I may wind up being the one hiding behind the potted plants..

I used to like crowds.
Then I spent a couple of years being afraid to step outside. Obviously, I eventually recovered, somewhat.
Sitting in crowded subway trains make me edgy sometimes, because there are so many people crowded into one small space.
I figure the best way for me to get over this is to force myself to go to events where there will be people. I can handle large crowds as long as I am in an open space...hopefully we won't be going to someplace packed..
Also..a crowd of strangers...in Boston..? With no husband to do the talking for me? With no keyboard? Dear God, what if I try to launch into a story and wind up offending someone?
