Give my Thugs MM the DP Animations!!

That is all. The 3 Thug MM Attacks share Name & Function with the 1st 3 DP Attacks. I want those Animations (at least the option of having them, a la Super Strengths Options).

Did you prepurchase Going Rogue yet? You can't even make this request until you have.
Your request would be much stronger if you prefaced it with, I prepurchased Going Rogue thinking I could use the new animations on my Thugs MM. Thats all I really wanted them for..yada yada. Could I please have that option? Seeing that I already purchased them?

Huh??? So, I can't just have seen the Animations for a DP AT, thought they were cool, noticed similarities in form and function for the attacks, and then thought, hey my MM would look supah awesome with those??? Hmmm....

Anyway, for the record, I did preorder GR, I did make a DP Corruptor and had a look. I didn't expect MMs to have these New Animations; nonetheless, I want them and I think the Powers in question are certainly similiar, if not outright the same.

Seems quite doable to me (relatively, compared to other tasks - don't quote standard quote rant stuff por favor)

I don't know about the base damage and whether the powers match in that regard, but I do know the animation times are different. This in itself makes them impossible to be "form, fit and functionally" identical.

For the record, If you take any of the mastermind attacks, you don't know how to play a mastermind.

Yes it would be cool to have those animations, but Masterminds need to focus on pets and pet training, then buffs/debuffs/holds, and then, in the end if there is nothing else to take, then MAYBE take a cone or other AoE attack power, slotted for debuffs. These types of attack powers are, however, patron powers.

Don't even get me started on petless MMs.

If you don't take any MM attacks, you are not getting the most leverage out of the Mastermind. The only downside to MM attacks is how horribly end-inefficient they are, and while some secondaries need to keep this in mind (Dark, Poison), others (Traps, FF) are more than welcome to waste their endurance because they really have nothing better to do with it.

Yeah, from just playing a DP corruptor a bit, it did seem the animation times are a bit different. That could make this a no go. Well, here's hoping the Devs can make this work. Certainly I couldn't be the only Thug MM that would like these attack animations. Be nice if my Minions could have them too (hey, wish big...!

You're not the only Thugs MM who wants the new animations. I would like them too. But I just wanted you to ask a bit differently. I only use the Dual Wield attack and my veteran powers, so amination times and stuff really don't matter to me. On a MM its all about style points. The pets are the workhorses. Once the pets attack and the plan is set into motion, it all about being cool. A spinning Dual Wield kill shot would be cool.

Provided there's no ambiguity, I prefer getting straight to the point. My OP request is quite clear. I don't believe for a second the Devs are confused about what I want and I really see no need to further elaborate. Yeah, I could have been more sugary and (_!_) kissing, but no... Make it so Devs!!!

I damn sure know how to play a mastermind, thanks. And yes, I *will,* on occasion, take attacks*. You don't like it, too damn bad.

*In preference to other powers, typically no, but if I have nothing else I want to take at a power point, I'll be more than happy to add some pew pew.

We got 2 builds, don't we?

Don't know about you guys, but my primary build is my "I actually know what I am doing" build, no attacks, everything slotted for maximum destruction and debuffery (oh yea, debuffery, it's there, I'm using it, deal with it!) and my second one is purely for fun. It has all of the attacks, slotted for accuracy and knockback (I absolutely love ragdoll physics and knockback. LOVE.) My power pools are for fun too, I think I have Fighting on there for the punch/kick combo as well.

One's serious, the other is for giggles.

That being said, I don't knock people who want to play their MM differently, or who have a concept build that they play, and don't try to min/max. More power to them.

Personal attacks are pretty okay. In the havoc and chaos that is every mob I go up against, I enjoy being able to single out a foe, like a Gas-spewing Nemesis Jaeger and ending them while my Henchmen continue to get 'disco inferno' on the mob. "But Delta!" you might say, "You should be spamming Debuffs, and directing your henchmen, not attacking!" The thing is, back when the fight started, I used all the debuffs I had, and since they're on 15-45s cooldown, I'm probably not going to waste throwing them twice on a mob. So what do I do? I start taking shots, you know, throw in a little DPS on those undesirables. As for directing my henchmen: Well since I already can do that while directing my debuffs(All 5 of them), it's no stretch to do that while casually tapping 2 powers.

Plus, if I didn't have personal attacks, I'd have nowhere to put Ranged Damage IOs!

[Edit]: However, it's safe to say not all Personal attacks were created equal. I'd certainly say that Ninjas' personal attacks are quite lacking compared to Slug, Dual Pistols, or even the Pulse Rifle and Life Drain.

I'll be taking every whip attack on my Demon Summoning MM just to spite all the "MMs shouldn't take attacks!" whiners.
