Doooooooom?
There hasn't been anything really needing patch notes since that time. That is, up until the addition of Dual Pistols and some of the fixes which accompanied the set. And you can look in the Dual Pistols Open Beta Chatter folder to see all of them.
Positron: "There are no bugs [in City of Heroes], just varying degrees of features."
There are a handful of other changes as well. Plus, letting people who don't frequent Test (or the forums in general) know what's up is always a good thing. With that said, they're usually a bit slow on the patch notes... so they'll be up eventually.
There have been patch notes for test, when test has been patched. If people are too lazy to go look for them, thats not the Devs fault.
Live has not changed until today, thus not warranting patch notes, afaik.

If you mean getting patch notes up earlier, then not really. It's been a standard complaint forever that patch notes often take several hours to go up on the website after the patch goes live.
If you're talking about length of time between patches, then I do believe that this is the longest break, at just shy of 3 months, since the game started. That's not so much a communication issue, though.

In an ideal world, you shouldn't need patches between issue releases; patches usually mean bug fixes and power rebalancing. A long streak with no patches means the game is working "mostly right", and you only get them to add new features.

Note the "ideal world" part.

Hey, look what I did!
And all it took was me copying and pasting a post from the Dual Pistols Open Beta forum.

Really? You could have fooled me. Communication has always been spotty, patch notes have frequently been late. This is nothing new.

EDIT: Should we shed a tear for all those poor Bruisers, Assault Bots, Onis and Commandos who will now be out of work?
New Power Set: Dual Pistols We are pleased to introduce the first of the highly anticipated Going Rogue initiatives, Dual Pistols. Players who prepurchase the Going Rogue expansion will gain access to Dual Pistols with this release. The set is a primary power choice for Blasters and Corruptors and a secondary choice for Defenders. Dual Pistols is also the power set of choice for the Going Rogue signature character Maelstrom. What differentiates Dual Pistols from the Assault Rifle power set is the ability to modify every attack's secondary damage and the effect that has on your target. 70% of damage dealt by most attacks is lethal, the other 30% is modifiable from pure damage to cold, toxic, or fire. This versatility comes at the cost of slightly weaker secondary effects when compared to other power sets. In short, Dual Pistols is a set that can adapt to most situations by bringing a wide variety of debuffs and damage types. The Dual Pistols Power Set is comprised of the following powers:
Mission Architect
General
Powers Peacebringers/Warshades
Powers Arachnos Soldiers

Way to act superior but I will tell you a secret: Not everyone uses test. Shocking I know but true. I do not use the test server (will let you superior poens do the bug testing) and have no reason to visit that section of the forms. So before you call people names why don't you stop and think before posting.

Is a value question and patch notes would show up in an easy to find part of the forum; personally I would like to see the breakdown of dual pistols but guess i need to wait until i get in game.
