I'm not convinced about pre-purchasing Going Rogue
I personally am convinced about not pre-purchasing GR.
Waiting for its actual release will be the better value hands down. And from what I have seen of Dual Pistols, while it looks neat, the long animation times, and the apparent fact that it is going to be the weakest of the Blaster sets make it simply not worth giving up the benefits of not pre-ordering just in order to have early access to the set.
Freedom: Blazing Larb, Fiery Fulcrum, Sardan Reborn, Arctic-Frenzy, Wasabi Sam, Mr Smashtastic.
The ONLY reason to get the pre-order is if you care about early access to the sets more than the free month of service. I'm not sold on DP, so I'm waiting to see how Demons look before deciding. Right now, I figure I'll wait and get the free month of service that comes with the Complete edition, but it's not final yet. There is still plenty of time.
I wasn't all that enthused with DP (I'm not saying it's terrible, it just did nothing for me) and I don't play much red side so I can't think of any other reason to pre-order. Especially when all the goodies are in the full set to be released later one, including a free month of play making it a better value than the pre-order set.
Dual Pistols is probably my favorite set in the game thus far.
That said, I'm convinced I AM pre-purchasing Going Rogue, as soon as it becomes available. Two, in fact, as I pay for my friend's subscription as well.
To this 4/4 beat, I'm in time with you. To this 4/4 beat, I would die for you. Your lovesick melody is going to get the best of me tonight, but you won't get to me 'cause I won't sing.
I'm with Staccato, though having a main who is a Malta Gunslinger and who has been waiting for DP since late 2004 probably makes me a little biased.
I'm super happy with the set overall, and I don't really notice it being significantly weaker than other sets. But then, I've only played AR, Archery, and Psi for any real amount of time, so I can't truly say.
Either way, it fits my character like a glove and I'm convinced the Devs actually listened to my input on DP threads over the years (ha!), so I'm sold.
EDIT: On the plus side, this is good news - at this rate I'll be only one of maybe 10 or 15 Pistols Blasters on Virtue for some time to come. :P

I'm not convinced about pre-purchasing Going Rogue because it's not available on the NCSoft store site yet. So ner. :P
My scrapper doesn't need an AoE. She IS an AoE.
I'll be pre-purchasing GR just on the basic principal that I consider it a vote of confidence in our Devs.
There's also the theory that the sooner our Devs get more money to work with the sooner we'll get more updates. Reportedly the Devs were able to use the money they made on the Wedding Booster Pack to speed up the development of the villain epic ATs enough that we got them earlier that originally planned.
As far as the extra month of play time goes I already pay for this game on an annual basis. Sure I might be giving up a free month by pre-purchasing, but the idea of tacking on an extra month to the back of my account to be available many moons from now doesn't really affect me too much.

The lack of information is a huge turn off and Paragon should release tons of info this week so people could decide whether or not to pre-purchase it.

Hopes Paragon doesn't see through this lame attempt to get us some more Going Rogue info
