Question about Scrapper Secondary
Agile is a passive defense power - it's main function is to increase your ranged defense by 5.625% (unenhanced). The resistance is a sliding bonus that increases as you lose health, so if you're at 100% health, you'll see 0% resistance. I don't recall what the scale is, or whether it's worth having, but as far as I recall, it's not enhanceable anyway.
Why does Agile show +0% for resistance to Smashing, Lethal, Fire, Cold, Energy and Negative. Do I have to be attacked by one of those to get a % resist or do I have to slot it? I took the power, but I am kinda regretting it if it doesn't actually have any resistance. Can someone let me know how this power works.

For those wanting the formula, try this: (60%-CurrentHP/MaxHP)/3 |

Damn, so it may have been a waste to take then. I could have taken something else instead. Is the power a waste?
Hell no. Neither are the other two passives.
Besides, if you want to softcap defenses, you'll want the passives anyway.

So if I was to use IO's, what would I slot it with?
As stated, skipping the passives on SR is a very bad idea. That passive scaling dam-res has saved my main from faceplanting a thousand times over. Stacks nicely with tough on the S/L side of it.
Be well, people of CoH.
To add to everything that's been said thus far, you're going to want to take all three passives if that fact hasn't already become apparent. Yes, the scaling resistances are nice but they are not the reason why.
Fully enhanced, at level 50, an SR scrapper has 95% def debuff resistance. No other set can offer that (not counting a Shield user using Hami-o's.)
3 generic def IO's is what I usually slot in mine.
The other night, I purposely tried to die on my SR scrapper. Two even-con minions could not quite take him down, even after I shut off my toggles and only had the three passives. (Granted, I had Health with just a single 35 IO, but still...) I was monitoring my resistance and every time I got within about one attack of death, my resistance was up near 60%. After five minutes of standing there letting them beat on me, I said to hell with it and gave up. Current slotting on my passives is a single Defense IO (35ish) in each.
