My Selfish Plea for Year-Round Toga Access
I agree. I can understand some costume pieces like capes and auras still needing to be unlocked on a per-character basis, but it'd be nice if seasonal items were unlocked account-wide.
The toga costume part can only be unlocked during February. So if I reroll him, in order to restore his costume, I'll have to wait until 2011 for a part I already have access to. It's just a matter of the timing of the release.

If someone has done the whole mission arc on their character, they can go to DJ Zero and get the mission even when valentines is over.
I know this cause i've done this mission outside valenties alot to get the hearts pattern.

Not entirely true...

Of course, having two accounts or a friend helps. ^_^

OTOH, Pocket D is interdimensional, so, maybe even at level 1 you can get to it for teaming up with someone who has the DJ Zero mission. We'll see what the VIP TPer does in Praetoria.

I have a strong preference for costume unlocks to be account-wide, not character limited.
I always make sure some of my not played so much alts have the missions ready for times just like this. Half of them still have the missions from last year.

I still have the mission on my main Villain from the time the Snaptooth mission bugged and sent you to Atlas. I've tried reporting it but how am I supposed to remember when and what time I got this mission?

Maybe there could just be a counter? so if you get a costume on say 5 different characters, you get it globally unlocked for all new characters?
That way it is still an incentive to get people to repeat the content more than once, whilst recognising that it does get a little old after a while.
Always remember, we were Heroes.
I would like the who Cimeroran(spelling) costume set open to players.

I dont mind it being character based. Would bother me if it became account based, but got to have some reason for the Vday stuff with new characters.
A very good idea.
Per-character costume unlocks always seemed counter-intuitive to me.
Costume unlocks (eg the Roman gear) provide two rewards:
- a cool costume piece that maybe fits a beloved character concept - say a time displaced Amazon.
- bragging rights, "Hey, I completed the ITF!"
For bragging rights it doesn't really matter that its per character. The same player completed the ITF.
For the actual costume piece per-character unlocks really hurt. Playing another character to unlock the costume piece account-wide for the character who requires the piece is good long term startegy to keep people playing multiple characters.
I have no idea where to post this, so I put it here.
I have a selfish request. I would like to be able to access costume parts on characters in Going Rogue without waiting for the special costume events to roll around.
The reason is that my main character, Oedipus Tex, will likely be rerolled once I can access the GR powersets. His costume consists of a toga over blue jeans. The toga costume part can only be unlocked during February. So if I reroll him, in order to restore his costume, I'll have to wait until 2011 for a part I already have access to. It's just a matter of the timing of the release.
I'm certain it won't happen, but it is kind of disappointing to have to run around in a martial arts robe instead.
