What are considered the Best AT's for PvP?
1. Fire powers hit the hardest but in order scappers=fire, stalkers=elec Brutes=fire, Tanks=fire
2. psi and fire for blaster not 100% on corruptors
3.regins scrappers/stalkers
4.idk stalkers maybe their slipery bastards
I'll do powersets, not powers.
1) Fire melee, Elec, Super Strength and Super Strength, respectively
2) Psi/Fire/Sonic for Blasters, Fire/sonic for Corrs
3) Regens and fire Tanks with phase
4) Fire/SS/Earth tank
CoH PvP SG = SuperUnion - Co-Leader - Union/Freedom
CoV PvP VG = Disruption - Co-Leader - Union/Freedom
Global = @Rent & @Rent.
Playgroup are all **** - Global Handle
How come Fire is survivable for a Tank? In PvE it's one of the weaker sets, also, does that go for Brutes or does another Secondary stand out for Brutes?

In PvE Fire is weaker because the resitances are lower than other sets, which can be an issue in the typical herding environment. In PvP the resistances get equalized across all types, so Fires resistance is roughly the same as all the other sets. What makes Fire stand out is a very effective, very fast recharging heal and a +damage power in Fiery Embrace.
So What have ya'll seen that survives and thrives (as in gets their killz) the most when in the 8 to 12 man brawls that go on in RV?

There are powers, powersets and even archetypes concepts that work totally different or even not at all in PvP.

Fire is definitely better than rad for blasters. Corrs, i might let you have.

If you want to stand in the middle of the 8-12 people and mash buttons and not care about your avoidance technique, pick a superstrength tank and spam hurl and fossilize. You'll get some kills. If you wanna be more team-worthy, pick up taunt.
If you're trying to build a "not gonna die" toon because dying hurts your feelings, I'd suggest instead get over it--especially in zone where dying doesn't count against you. You'll still die and you'll rage even more since you thought you had a not-gonna-die toon after following the advice here.
I still prefer having a stun built in, rather then mindless damage spam, even in the dumbed down pvp as it is, its still a preference. However, I would give it to you fire and rad are about the same; meh.

MMs can be very survivable but it depends on what you do arena is very in zone is a little tougher but they can. They also do awsome dmg vs how long they can last and with pets the dmg goes down slowly but constintly.
