If they can do it...

it took us several tries on victory to get a successful one done

they take a LOT of organization and coordination and the best thing to do is practice practice practice

even one that does not go well you would learn from the experience to make another attempt

good luck on your next attempt!

That's if we ever get an attempt going....T_T

I'm not sure when or if a blue-side raid is being planned, since our guild doesn't have its heroes on Pinnacle. But the Twilight Avengers are going to be leading one red-side next Wednesday, February 3rd, at 9:30 EST. We routinely raid as a guild, so we can guarantee that it will be successful.

Come out and join the fun!

Sorry to hear that. On an up note, if this is well-received by the community, we will likely do it again at some point in the future, so perhaps that will fit your schedule better.

So put together a private raid. you know who the players are if you don't I can give you list. you don't need 50 people. just send the invites to them with a date and with a time, or I can post it in the hamibound global channel and invite folks to that.

If you get the right poeple and someone to run the blaster/controll team I can manage the agro/melee. I won't heard cats thought

Let's do it!

Just for sh!ts and giggles, what is the big deal about beating on a big pile of Jello?

Back in the day you could solo him, then they fixed em (sort of) and then again and again. The point is I just don't see a point of getting people together for long drawn out mess just to get a Hami-o. Now a ship raid, that's different.

If the cats show up I am leaving. I hate herding them. Its more fun to just see how many different Monsters they can try to kill at once and then how may times you can get them to raid wipe jumping into the jello at the wrong time.

Run Doctor Q in about 4 hrs and you can get over a 100 without trying to find over a dozen people for this. <shrugs>

Not down for a Jello Lag Festival.

Then don't show up.

And btw...that "over a dozen" is more like 30, and the challenge of coordinating that many working parts at the same time for a common goal is a part of the attraction. If that's not your cup of tea, so be it. It's not for everyone.

Seriously, though, if you don't see the point of raiding and it doesn't interest you, that's fine. But why post in a thread about it? You could be out running a Doctor Q instead...

And I wonder what changed in regards to Hamidon with patch notes to make things change?

You can run Hamidon for a while and after a while people grow bored of the whole encounter.

But the fault doesn't lie with our server, sure it may have less people on it then others, but that is far from the issue. The problem I feel is with the DEVs themselves. Look, this game is going to hit its six year mark in May and not much has been added into the game to provide people with more encounters as a group of heroes or villains. Most online games nowadays provide players the opportunity to do indoor dungeons with large groups of people, working together as to accomplish a goal.

That's one thing I do miss from Conan, getting 4 groups of six people on each team and entering a dungeon and defeating insanely powerful foes and then the main boss, that to me was uncanny experience and true fun.

When you add piss ant encounters to defeat a big blob of jello or do a ship raid with a bunch of people, it does tend to wear on people after a time. Sure it offers rewards but boredom from repeating what has been done over and over ways on people and they prefer to do different things.

Sure other servers do these types of raids often, it could be a variety of reason but I am guessing the main reason could be that there is nothing else to do with a large group of people. So they chug along and basically force themselves to beleive its fun just to gain a reward, I assume their are more people on Pinnacle who do not feel the need to force themselves into submission to have fun.

If the DEVs added indoor encounters with a large group people able to team up and have a good time, it would change a lot for this game and people actually getting excited to team up and do some thing fun and different for a change. The Devs need to glance at what other games are currently doing to keep their subscriptions up as ideas instead of falling every so slowly backwards.
