Best Dom

I'm thinking about either rolling a Mind/ or Fire/ dom. I would rather slide away from the Mind/Fire build.

This is what I'm thinking:
Mind/Thorny
Mind/Psi
Fire/Elec

Which one would be top notch for PvP. Well, for Sirens.

Fire/Fire Doms put out a stupid amount of damage.

mind thorn can do well, and its easy to proc. when most your procs go off on impale you see pixelated sex. its good.

I think grav is under-rated.

Pros
great knockback, cage, pet, -movement

Cons
tohit rolls against smashing, activation times

Note: the cage is great in duels esp if you have aidself.

Also doms electric assault -end is overlooked as static discharge is your -rec power, and if you can go with the mu you are a surprisingly good drainer.

Note: I have grav/elec so I am biased, and I could not go with Mu (although I would love to) because hiber and waterspout are so pimp.

I have a mind/em and I am biased by it's sheer powa.

I have a grav/elec dom. But the activation times on the powers are far too long. I die quickly dueling a blaster. Maybe it's because my combo is off, i'm not sure.

i have a grav/fire, fully pvp io'd.

great toon, loved playing it in kickballs; gutted it to spec my mind/fire and i still regret it :-(

My 'unique butterfly' doms are fire ea and grav elec. The fire ea is a decent arena toon and alright zone toon. The grav elec is a beast in zones, I haven't really done any arena with it so I won't comment there. That said, mind fire is so much better than both in the damage department its scary. Its really like playing a blaster when you are on a mind fire because it does do much more damage than any other set up.



Don't be afraid to play a butterfly though, all the cool kids do it.

Those are all good combos. I personally like to play my ice/thorn or grav/thorn. I'm sure someone already mentioned the ability to stuff all kinds of nasty procs in /thorns. If your looking for something outside the box, try one of these.

My new grav/electric spec just got uber-Pwninated by blaster. So I retract my earlier statement and roll fire/fire.
