Ok, I'm a little confused here. I thought that all of the PvPers had a mass exodus to Freedom and have left Guardian.

Nope, plus my Mini-League events are more about fun and prizes than being a hardcore 1337 PVPer. Everyone has a good time and the nice part about having the Mini format is that its pretty noob friendly so they dont get wailed on and never PVP again. Its a starter event to get them used to the shallow water before sombody holds theyre head under in the deep end. Plus its been the fastest non-exploit way for me and others around to pick up PVP IOs, I get a few every time we have the event.

I'll do my best to show up, and I'll make sure that I don't schedule this months Feature Event to conflict with your event times (and future monthly Feature Events for that matter).
As a side note Psynder, if you're comfortable running PvP events, I could probably use a helping hand with the Feature Event, unless you'd be wanting to participate yourself. We've been given the rules and such for this months event already, and I'll be scheduling it for either this weekend or the following weekend, depending on when I'll have more time available. I'll have a thread up for it in the next couple days.

Lookit... not trying to call you a liar but you haven't run a pvp event ever to my knowledge, nevermind a "mini-league".The wording is great but lets be honest. Just how many people have showed for your "mini " events? I am not knocking you or your endeavor but I think putting the facts plain out there rather than doing a something through rose colored glasses might be a good idea.
Pvp on Guardian has been dead for a longtime and a number of reason's.The least of which is "getting your head held under the water."
I really hope your "event" is a funtime for all.I posted because with the server transfer option free now many people are trying to paint a picture in order to draw new players to their server.I am sorry if I offend but I see this as a shameless plug and nothing more.There was never pvp on Guardian aside from the Wars and that was 2 years ago. Sure we had "Fight Nights"(which were a total joke.... when Raid lead them... oh yea... then we got that ****** xr8ed to be the rep. Talk about FUN times for all!!!/em facepalm. The last fun events were lead by JJ summer before last and even those never had a turnout over 8-10). To act like there is any sort of pvp anything on this server is sort of silly.
I want to reiterate that my post is in no way a personal attack. I just think it's fair to let players know whats the real deal.That's all.

And psy, what kind of matches? Like 5v5, 2v2, KBs? And TS and HD off?

OK zone pvp died. Arena pvp might have a chance and there were 4 people that came from freedom.

I'd do 1v1 2v2 5v5 FFA and pentads.
And kickball.
Kickball is a really good way to promote noob friendly pvp.
Ok ill probably be able to attend the events. Ill be xfering my dom after i IO it and ill xfer my blaster to freedom to IO it.
And Haunt if you see this, we can redo our 2v2 tonight when im on.
I wasnt planning on using my dom coz its not fully slotted and i havent played it for a while. I was just too lazy to switch

Thanks to everyone who came out for the event. We didnt have a huge turn out but there were enough people to have fun, vets and a few people who were having theyre first arena experience with us.
I hope to see everyone again next Sunday and hopefully we can have an even better event. Make sure you guys pitch me ideas for what other events you will want to have besides the Mini-Events.

Come join us on Guardian server every Sunday night and jump in with PVP events that anyone can get they're feet wet with. There will be various PVP events specializing in various themes. Have fun with friends and make some new ones, all while earning PVP IOs and winning prizes. Something for everyone.
While your enjoying the themed events make sure you stick around and participate in Guardians Mini-League Events, where you may bring any toon and have them exmp down to level 5 and fight in Battle Royals and 2v2s.
