So, my level 21 toon, running solo at +0/x2, yes boss, no AV. A Lost radio mission. It spawned absolutely nothing but bosses. Known issue?

Way too many alts on Triumph, Virtue, Protector, Champion, and Exalted.

I've seen this happen to. I always went with "The RNG hates me today."

I'll go several missions without seeing a single boss, then have one mission with nothing but.

It's annoying when it happens, but I'm not really sure if it's a problem, though...

It's intentional; Lost spawn an unusually high number of bosses.

Well yes, they do, but it's not usually 100%. I wasn't using hyperbole in my original post.

I usually like it. Except on my Thermal who used to need Shivans to kill bosses.

I didn't think you were exaggerating; spawning nothing but bosses with 2 people on the team (or on the old setting of Tenacious) has always been normal for Lost. Two missions that I've seen that a lot in are Unlucky Pete and Rescue Mr. Yin.

Hmmm. I find it hard to believe that in all these years I've never run a Lost mission set for 2 people before, but I suppose anything's possible. Those early levels zip by pretty quick. OK, I'll take your word for it, mystery solved.

Yeah, I've run into this before. Mainly with Lost, but also council and family, on occasion. It seems to happen more when I'm doing a story arc I've just outlevelled. Yeah, I normally run on at least x2 difficulty, which might explain why I've seen it several times before.

Once in a while I run into that too... sometimes even on TFs. I once ran a mission that consisted of JUST Fake Nemesis, but each mob only consisted of the 2 of them standing together... so it wasn't that bad. Other's I've seen include Freak Tanks, Warrior Elites, and even Spirit Masks.

Resetting the mission usually reulted in a normal spawn again, even under the same conditions. (this was even before the new challenge settings)

I've seen this too, for a variety of villain groups. My guess is that it's a rarely occurring bug, probably another one of those "uninitialized variables" that causes the same spawn to be reused over and over instead of rerolling the encounter for each spawn location.

A bug like this is very hard to track down because if you have a mission full of the same LT/minion spawns you'll never notice anything out of the ordinary. So it could be happening all the time but no one realizes it.

I don't think it's a bug. I have noticed the high number of boss encounters during lost missions. Some missions I've seen consistently spawn a boss for every mob.

Go play Ashley McKnight's "Collect the Amulets of Corax" mission, and you will see a boss every mob. Although some do come with minions, the majority is bosses. There's even a warning on Paragonwiki.com that warns against the large number of bosses.

The high count of bosses in Lost missions is not in dispute.

Having at least 1 boss in each mob is a completely different thing than a mission composed of ONLY bosses, which is what we're referring to here... and extends beyond just Lost missions.

I've only seen this happen in very specific missions, so I assumed it was intentional. Note that the two I mentioned are both Lost missions that ramp up as you go in.

I've had it happen before many times over the years. If it's a bug, it's a very old bug.

Shhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

It's not a bug, it's been around since dot as far as the Lost are concerned...and now others can spawn bossess to Solo...It's more xp, I love it
