Pouting and a question

Just a thread expressing my frustration.

I wanted to respec my level 50 Fire/Fire scrap into Weave and The Blaze Mastery but I can't get all the powers I want, and I can't get all the slots I want....and to come kissing cousin close to the build I want I have to forgo a travel power.

Oh well..Since it works, lacks a lot of powers but it does work, I guess I will keep what I have and do a second build.

Ponder....hmmmm...a question. For a Fire/Fire which Mastery would give me the most bang for my buck???

Dark, which I have now, or Blaze????

Fireball is awesome...but it means taking two power choices, instead of the two which I have in my Dark build.

Anyways, on to work with me.

Thanks all.

Lisa.

Post your complete build and describe your (prefered) playstyle and you could get better insight/feedback

Here's something I put together fairly quickly.

The build doesn't have the greatest regen or recovery, but it does have a good amount defense (27.5% smash/lethal, 23% to most positions and types) and 45% global recharge. It has the endurance efficient scorch -> cremate -> incinerate chain, tough/weave and most of the blaze mastery powers including fireball.

There are some expensive IO pieces in the build, but you can substitute almost all of them and still get very good performance. Smashing Haymaker for Kinetic Combat, Multi-strike for Obliteration and Eradication. You can just do AE bronze rolls to get the Reactive Armor pieces. The Miracle and the LotGs are nice to haves, you can replace them with common heal and defense IOs until you have enough. The only ones you'll probably end up buying outright are the Blessing of the Zephyr -kb pieces, which admittedly are expensive and rare.

The build can easily be pimped out if you include purple sets, but based on your past posting history, I don't think you want to see builds where you're obligated to farm for the next month or two to afford it.

The build:

ive seen a good amount of people taking swift and then using ninja jump and sprint as their travel power, i guess thats something you could consider

/gignore @username is the best feature of this game. It's also probably the least used feature.

Hurdle + Ninja Jump, unless you have quickness it is far faster (and yes, it is totally bearable to do this and not take a travel power, especially if you have the booster jet pack, or any temp travels for those hard to reach places) that should save you the power pick you need.

"Fascinating. I'm not bored at all, I swear." -Kikuchiyo

Hurdle + ninja run is faster than max flight speed (about 60mph at lvl 39), and swift+quickness+sprint+ninja run is only 0.5 mph slower than jumping, according to ingame numbers.

Definitely viable. Pretty much all of my scrappers will go travel powerless from now on.

Unfortunately my Fire/Fire/Fire Scrapper has to stick with a travel power for the extra +Def and KB protection.

Thanks everyone for your input. I am way too tired to completely understand it right now and compare to what I have. I have been working 12, 13 hours a day . .I even forgot about writing this post until Fury Flechette reminded me of it...thanks so much Fury Flechette, I totally owe you one

Darn but I want my mind to be awake right now.

And, err, how do I post my build. I do have Mids, but last time I tried to post a build I failed.

Hugs to everyone.

Lisa.

When you have Mids' up, at the top, click Import/Export and choose "Short Forum Export..."
Then, on the top right box titled "Formatting Code Type", highlight 'phpBB / Zetaboards'. Now just click "Export Now" at the bottom and right click/paste here. Hope this helps!
