Freedom East Coast SNOW PATROL! (Pics encouraged!)

All right, people. We're in the BLIZZARD OF THE CENTURY (granted, it's only 9% complete), and there's no way in HELL we're all logged in banging away at an ITF or speed LRSF.

So start sharin'. I think this is a great way to see what the heck we're all dealing with when we say "sorry, will be late for the static team, we lost power and are shivering to death".

Here's my tidbit: Courtesy of Facebook. My wife and my dog, on the road behind our house, about four hours ago. I'll note, the snow's DOUBLED during that time.

So far we've been lucky and not lost power, and didn't have any problems getting home in my house. My sister, however, was stuck on the roads for 4 hours to drive 2-3 miles straight home.

WV (where I'm at) was declared a state of emergency, as well as VA.

We're still supposed to get snow here until tomorrow morning, but I don't think it'll be adding much accumulation. This morning when my husband measured off the back deck, we were at 16.5 inches, but I think it's closer to 21-22 here in town at this point.

The Snow hasn't hit Western Massachusetts yet either. Hopefully it'll start soon, though

This far south, we've only gotten rain from it, but they're saying we might see a little snow tonight. Of course, I have to work tonight, and even a dusting of snow around here causes everyone to freak out.

Then there's always the idiots who say "I've got a 4wd, I can drive in it safely!" and wonder why they have to get towed.

Where my GF lives(25 minutes from my house).. she got a light dusting last night.. Where I live.. Nothing..

Got next to nothing here in Cincinnati. It snowed a little bit Friday night, but was all melted by the time I got up yesterday. And we got nothing last night.

No snow where I live, unless you count SAND!

Yeah, no snow here either. Like, ever. I love Florida!

It was in the 40's this morning though... I actually had to forego shorts today in favor of jeans! The tragedy of it all!!! :O

I'm a Floridian who has lived in the state, left the state, and later as an adult, returned to the state. Back in the dinosaur ages, during a trip to Disney I think.. we saw frost. Also, we used to live in North Florida (in Ft Walton Beach) and we actually got parsley snow once. No, it didn't stick, but I think I got enough on my tongue to taste it.
