2nd Annual Dream Team Winter Event!

Today's the day.

While I can't make it, I do hope everyone has fun. Pre-Gratz to all of the contest winners!

My apologies, but between rushing around for Christmas (work and stuff mostly) and a three-day bender for New Years, I had completely neglected to post any of the rules for the PvP events even after promising I'd get it done. So better late than never I guess, and I'll obviously be giving out these rules later this evening when the PvP events get rolling.

First up is the Versus Pentad. If we get enough people for more than one team of each Heroes and Villains, the highest scoring team overall will win. Other rules as follows:

- 15 minute timer
- Random Map
- Travel Suppression will be ON
- Heal Decay will be OFF
- Diminishing Returns will be ON
- Small Inspirations and Arena temp powers will be allowed


Second up will be the Level 5 and under Ice-themed FFA. Winner will be decided by highest total score.

- 20 minute timer
- Random Map
- Travel Suppression will be OFF
- Heal Decay will be OFF
- Diminishing Returns will be ON
- Max Endurance Gain will be ON (to help since no-one will have Stamina)
- Small Inspirations and Arena temp powers will be allowed


Lastly is the 2v2 tournament. This will be a ladder tournament, so any teams wanting to participate will have to inform me so I can add them to the ladder. Winner of each round will be determined by total team score. Byes may be necessary, but no more than one bye per team. Each match will include the following rules:

- Travel Suppression will be ON
- Heal Decay will be OFF
- Diminishing Returns will be ON
- Small Inspirations and Arena temp powers will be allowed


If anyone has any questions about the rules, feel free to direct them to me (@pyber) in-game before the events start. Keep in mind that while I will be running the event as a neutral party, Dream Team and Villains of Victory will be providing the prizes. Due to my lack of being online the last few days, I can't post the prize info here, but I'll have that well before we get started and will let everyone for each event know what they will be playing for. Suffice to say the prizes consist of both Infamy/Influence as well as PvP IO's.

Ok now for the interesting part... I have talked with Nivene and she has approved all our titles cept one blah.. sending that one for approval. But i have to pick a day as well to get titles to winners. I will let everyone know that day in the next couple of days. NOW for the kicker, LadyTemptress got Windows7 and cant get on the game, calling tech support tomorrow. Your title list has been approved except for "More than Meets the Eye". If you would like to suggest another title for approval in it's place please let me know.

Next is setting up a time and date to distribute titles. Please make sure you choose dates that are during our working week. Mon - Friday from 9am until 5pm PST.

I will need a list of winner names (Character names and Globals)

I will also need you to make sure someone is there with the winners to verify they are the characters receiving the titles.

If you have winners that are not able to attend a title ceremony I will be more than happy to schedule a time with them individually.

It was a blast to work with. I was on Vilians side for all the events, working along side other SG members of DreamTeam to help this event happen. I think my only sad note was the lack of villians for the Codebreaker and Deadweight events. Wish more of you ebil red side people had come out to play. But oh well!

OK everyone... GOLD TITLES are scheduled to be given out to ALL winners 1st 2nd and 3rd place winners of our event on Monday JAN. 18th at 6pm est/4pm pst in Pocket D on Guardian Server. NIVENE will be there with any guests she brings along with her to hand out titles... Please if you were a winner try and be present to receive your gold title. We will also have some maybe fun facts or something else to pass the time and give out more prizes to ppl... thank you to everyone who helped out with this to make the event a success... I will update everyone if anything changes...

I may not make it to the gold title awards, 6 pm est is when my father gets fed and other things. No telling how it will go. In the chance I don't... here is toon name and global
