The perfect Arachnos Uniform
Colors are Black (besides the Red-Oriented Lights, Symbol, and Cape.)
Height is roughly 6+
No costume parts are missing.
The Arbiter costume is mostly doable, however the cape will be a problem. Arbiter capes are white/grey, but we can't currently color our Arachnos cape.
There's also the problem of not being able to take off your helmet. Although as evidenced in Grandville, not all Arbiters are helmetless.
If I'm remembering correctly, Arbiter coloring is pretty much just all white across the board.
Actually, if your Shaders are set to high, then the Arbiter costume isn't White/White.
The armor plating is slightly darker than white, and the undermesh/armor padding is the same darker white, but with an added layer of metallic shine. That same metallic shine that we can't use.
I should know, I spent a LOT of Inf trying to get the colors right on my Arbiter toon. I ended up making a Huntsman costume with the boots and shoulders near-white to make him a pseudo-Arbiter, like a high-rank Huntsman in the way Arbiter Daos is a high-rank Arbiter.
Now if your shader option is set to low, then yes the Arbiter suit IS white/white.

I set the helmet, shoulders, chest plate, glove bands and boots to white. The undersuit is a dar kgrey, lacking the sheen the NPC Arbiters have. The cape we can't do anything about.
AE is your friend. It lets you mess around with NPC colours to find out what the closest or sometimes exact match is.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Hi everyone!
As an Arachnos fanboy, I'd like to be able to make characters who are physically indistinguishable from the original Widows/Crabs/Banes etc. Does anyone know the exact heights, proportions and colors? Are there any costume parts missing? I'd eventually like to make an Arbiter character. Is that possible with the available ressources? Thanks a lot for the help! I'll try to post what I find out myself. |
This is my 'Field Grade' Arbiter. I went with Field Grade as a 'rank' of sorts, similar to Arbiter Sands, as an explanation for why the cape is a different colour.

Synergyblast: 50 Energy/Electric Blaster (Virtue)
Arbiter Bailey: 50 Bane (Virtue)
Mr. Bailey: 50 Merc/Dark MM (Virtue)
This is my take on an Arbiter Commander.
Arbiter Blood. I do have a version where the Boots and Shoulders are blood red to match the cape's red.

^ nice... nice =)
I have to say that to me looks more hardcore than any arbiter i've seen floating arround the isles
it's not very arbitery, but i have a half copper coloured arachnos soldier with green glows on the side of the head, and it looks AWESOME!!! but that might be just me being prowd of my lil arachnos soldier ^^
Here's an Arbiter costume that's pretty close to the NPC's minus the cape of course. I have Windows Vista and run the Ultra settings and used the White at the end of the top line on the colors and the grey that's about 4 in from the left. It comes out pretty close to the NPC's. If anyone has an idea on how to color the Bane/Crab costume to have an Arbiter look, i'd be interested.
Can you use SG uniform colors to change the color of the cape?
Best regards,
